Barakkat Rouge 540 by Maison Alhambra for Women - 3.4 oz EDP Spray

Blind buy. Upon opening this product its a decent quality bottle. I was nervous that it wasn't going to smell as the real BR540 but it's a very close duplicate. Once you spray it at first it gives a very pungent alcohol smell but the dry down is perfect and does smell like the real scent. You have to let it settle on the skin first. I noticed that I sprayed too much because I thought couldn't smell it. But it was over kill.. a little goes a long way which I cannot say for the real br540. So with that this bottle will last plenty more time because you only need 2 or 3 sprays it lingers so it is even good to layer with a softer scent like cocoa butter lotion to give it a more feminine boost. I recieved so many compliments when I layered it with my nivea cocoa butter lotion. Overall, I will recommend if you like to original br540. Get it. It is worth it to spend 30+ instead of 500 on this scent.

Fragrance World did a very good job. I am really impressed by this rendition of BR540 and I am leaving 5 stars. Despite some of the reviews, Barakkrat 540 definitely has the OG BR540 DNA. I also have the original. This cologne performs, lasts and projects nicely after macerating for about two weeks. While it is not as “velvety” or smooth as the original BR540, which can be expected, it has captured its scent, especially in the air. I am very satisfied and for $20, I will be purchasing a second bottle for back up.

Update: It’s been several weeks, but this fragrance didn’t macerate for me, perhaps is was a subpar batch. Based on this experience, I don’t find this to be a good value/dupe. Original review: So I’m on this personal quest on finding the best BR540 clone/dupe which has turned into a bit of an obsession. I’ve tried Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge which smells nice, but needs longevity/projection—perhaps it has to macerate (I’ve used the entire bottle and never macerated). Then bought this Barakkat Rouge 540 (both the eau de parfum, and also the extrait)—so far, like the other, it needs longevity/projection—perhaps it too needs to macerate. I will update when that happens or if anything changes. If it doesn’t macerate then not worth the price(s)—and these fragrance prices on Amazon do tend to fluctuate. I just bought another fragrance—a totally different brand, Arabic/Dubai EDP and so far, I think it’s the contender.

Love this perfume! Wear it every day and am always getting compliments from strangers even on how good I smell! I think my nose gets used to it so I don't smell it all day but I do smell it on my clothes when doing laundry so I know it lasts! For the price you can't beat it! Great bottle size, very similar to the original just without the hefty price! This has easily become my new every day perfume!

This is kind of close to baccarat rouge 540 in my opinion. But it woodsy musk scent is stronger than the original. It lasts about 4 to 5 hours on my wrist and even longer on my clothes. This fragrance has a unisex smell that both women or men can wear. I didn't give it 5 stars because of how strong the woodsy, musk scent stands out. Once it wears off it's better. I smell woodsy, musk, vanilla and a sweet berry smell. I don't love it or hate it. I will wear it occasionally.

This was a blind buy for me. Nice packaging and smells wonderful. Once you spray and let it settle on your skin, it’s heavenly. A little goes a long way and it the scent was with me all day. This is now my signature go to scent. I was pleasantly impressed with this perfume and will definitely buy again.

I thought it smelled somewhat like the original, but has a faint gas/fuel smell. It is definitely missing the sweet scent. I will say it does last longer than most dupes I’ve tried. After about a month, the fuel smell seems to subside.

This perfume smells amazing! I’m going to have to find a bigger bottle!

Decided to purchase and try this as the price was great. Girlfriend loves it. Drives her insane and gets the job done. I forgot my sweater at her place and she told me this scent drive her crazy. I also purchased cloud and it's close but a tad more feminine smelling. This has a strong alcohol smell that quickly fades. 7 PM.
