I'm giving it 5 stars because my hair really likes this formula and it works really well with their conditioner and serum. If I didnt use the conditioner and serum, I would likely still use this. The ingredients are excellent, and it makes my hair look full and healthy. As for stopping or reducing hair loss, or encouraging hair growth? that takes a long while to tell. I use minoxidil, and I use other DHT blocking shampoo and conditioners. It does help. Now, unlike some people, I do not wash my hair daily. I wash no more than 2-3x a week. I have long, wavy/curly hair that leans dry, and the washing process is just too much for my hair and scalp, hence the low frequency. Even so, when it comes to the shampoo and conditioner, it seems to help. I'll keep using it. Small bottle but it lasts a very long time. No need to use a lot.Since it isn't full of crap ingredients, the shampooing experience may feel like a lot is needed to get a lather if you are used to typical products. So this is what I suggest: Get your hair thoroughly wet. Add a tiny bit of shampoo-- just a smidge. Work it in best you can, even if it is only top portion of head. It wont be sudsy yet. No worries. Basically you are allowing the shampoo to break up any grime or product that is in hair. The add some water, massage again,. Then rinse, and/or just add in a small/normal amount of shampoo. You will notice that it now explodes into lather. This is now cleaning your hair the rest of the way. I leave it on as I proceed to wash my body. If I plan to use conditioner, then I allow a couple of minutes for that too. The shampoo though is most important to me.I like it, I'll keep using it. Might buy it again.

Too pricy did not notice any different in my hair

I lost about 1/3 of my hair during menopause, and it was starting to freak me out, because my mother wore a wig at my age; but unlike her, I'm lucky to be born with thick hair. I'm such a skeptic, but check out my photos. I started using Good Lab shampoo about eight months ago. Does that look like eight months worth of new hair? Yes, it does. I only use it once a week. After a few months, I started noticing all these fly aways around my face that I've never had in my life. Then on a breezy day, they would be in my mouth and eyes. My hair is also thicker in ponytails and buns already. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm sold on this product!

Tried this shampoo along with the Good Lab Conditioner and Serum. Liked the smell. Smells like a 5 star salon product, not too overwhelming but classy. it spread well and washed out well. Do not need to shampoo more than once with it which is great. Great ingredients in it that are proven to work and great customer service so call it a win win. No dandruff and no buildup which is another plus. The shampoo and conditioner bloomed my hair and the serum took it up another notch. My wife asked what I did as my hair looked so thick!

I don’t know what the put in this shampoo but I’m assuming it must be hair glue! I started shedding like crazy a few months back and decided to give this a try. Two days into using this I’m back to my normal daily hair loss.. smells great! Also love the texture my hair is after washing. I use it daily. My only issue is the pump didn’t work which makes it a bit of a hassle to get out but I’ll take the hassle over losing hair!

I've been using this product for about 2 months & no new growth. I gave it a 2 star because the one advantage in using this product is that it does help make your hair look thicker. The drain catcher is full every time you use this treatment.

Just started using the product this morning, so I don’t know how it works yet. The pumper was broken, so it’s not off to a good start. To spend this much on shampoo and not have the bottle work????

I have heard about this shampoo from friends and finally took the plunge. So happy I did! My hair feels wonderful after it’s washed and smells nice too. I have only used this product for a little while, but I am noticing that when I brush my hand through my hair less of them come out. I am excited by this product and will be using it to keep what hair I have! I have also purchased the conditioner for it, which is nice and creamy with matching scent.

Works well as a normal shampoo, will update later when I notice anything else.

Does nothing for hair loss... My shedding never stopped after using this and I had terrible itching on the scalp... Given it 2 stars because it does give my hair a much thicker appearance...but no good effect as far as hairloss is concerned

Great shampoo feels like it's working

Gave me a lot of volume but also gave me an itchy scalp :( so I had to stop using it unfortunately.
