Just what we needed. A light-hearted look at the sometimes nightmarish and baffling world of parenting.Like many books, this is a great guide to what to expect, do's and don'ts etc. What sets this book apart from the rest is the sense of humour used to convey the information, just "take a look inside", and right from the off this book will have you laughing, whilst still conveying the information you want from a parenting book.This book is like a breath of fresh air, and as a dad-to-be, having the concentration span of a distracted goldfish, it's the only 'what-to-expect' kinda book that holds my interest.

Love this book great ideas in it. It arrived in a few days and great quality.

Loved the book ROugh Guide to pregnancy, so bought this however its not in the same style as the other one and I have never really read much of it - its more in chapters about topics, rather than something that progresses as your baby grows up

all i can say is good advice and very funny only marked it down as my baby boy is now 10 months and think the book is more focused on the first month for the first 50 pages but apart from that this book is brilliant if you like to read from cover to cover and not for reference. brilliant

Far from over technical and academic style that feel written for a master or phd dissertation, this book is fun to read and has all the infos i was looking for to prepare myself.It was a good choice for me.

Love it read the pregnancy one and this follows nicely, friends with 1-2 year olds have also enjoyed the read

Ive bought this after reading the Pregnancy & Birth guide. I havent finished reading but I already love it, it is informative without forcing any opinions on you. Kaz is funny and refreshing. I bought other "Baby-Care" books but did not finish them as they were informative, yes, but extremely boring. Can not recommend this highly enough.

I've bought it with 'The Rough Guide to Pregnancy and Birth'. It's funny and informative without pomposity. Must have for all first time parents.
