Great beginner plane as advertised, keep in beginner mode until you get comfortable, and there is plenty maneuverability for acrobatics, yet extremely stable in the air, once you get it off the ground the controls are predictable and precise. It can handle slight wind but would not recommend, but if you’re thinking about getting into the hobby this is where you start.

Durable, easy to fly if you follow instructions and dont go full throttle all the time. The 1 button barrel roll is awesome. My 11 yo loves it. Only bad thing is the batteries are often tricky to extract and have to be pulled by the wiring harness.

Great beginner plane. Excellent customer service. Was shipped a replacement plane. Replacement plane had a glitch once battery warning light went off. Flew straight into a tree all on its own. Super fun when its working properly

I would say that the Volentex P-51D Mustang is a very good begginer aircraft! It's highly maneuverable at low-mid speeds, it has exceptional speed for such a small and compact Rc aircraft as well! Would highly suggest low-mid speeds to get the feel for the maneuverability, as it may br difficult for some to control at higher speeds. It also worth to note for beginners that the gyro should be on! To receive more info upon the Rc plane, I would suggest going online for any tips and tricks that you should know!

Picked up this plane as something to keep in the car and fly on my way home from work. Overall the plane looks great. The details really help to bring this model to life, even the little 2D pilot! The gyro system is very very nice and easy to turn on and off. Flight times are between 10 -14 minutes, so with two batteries you can get in some quality air time. Read the instructions! This is NOT a beginner plane. Yes, the stabilization function works well but what is not mentioned is that you still need to trim the plane, which can only be done with the stabilization OFF. If you don't then your first time in 'expert' mode could be your last. Both the elevator and aileron were pretty sensitive, so I'd move the control rods out to the end of the control horn for those surfaces. The mix of propellers is fun but doesn't really change much in terms of flight characteristics. Also, the factory box is great to store these planes in, sadly this plane will not store in the box with the landing gear on. You can punch holes in the foam to allow for storage with landing gear installed but you will not be able to store the radio. The range is acceptable. I wouldn't want to fly it any further than the transmitter warns you about since it is so small. I also appreciate the low battery warning since it allows me to focus on flying. The mode switch is the best part. Stick it in Mode 2 (beginner) throttle up and toss it. Get up and switch it into Mode 0 (expert) do some rolls, loops, and buzz the tower a few times. Get it back up and change the mode back to relax for a minute or two. Switching back and forth whenever you're ready (or not) for some action adds a new level of enjoyment. Never flown? Get a glider or something larger and a little less aggressive first. When you've earned your wings get one of these and tear it up! Level wings!
