Giving this a 5-star rating because I like the jacket and the customer service was great-- got it a bit early, too! and it seems just like what was described on-line. Very attractive, too, a woman came up to me complimenting me on its looks the very first day I wore it-- and I was walking back to the beach sopping wet!I had looked into a warmer swim jacket, but the sizing seemed smaller to the neoprene ones so I doubted they would fit me (sz 3x). This jacket fits quite easily, with extra room. So it floats a little around me as I swim, and the sleeves are long-- maybe 1-2" longer than normal at the hands, but this might be due to the material's stretch, too. It stretches out somewhat when wet.My only issue involves its warmth. It is a thin jacket, so it doesn't add the same sort of protection against the cold as a scuba suit would. I knew this was likely the case when I read its description on-line, but I hoped it would be a bit warmer, as I swim in a local pond which is known for its cold waters. So, it does help, like a spring jacket helps on a cool day, but when the waters get colder, it won't do much...

I purchased this item to use in the pool for exercise (haven't tried it yet as it is still too cool). I normally wear a 1-2 x and first ordered a 3x which was way too big. Then I ordered a 2x which fit, but still was a little big in the chest. Finally I got the 1x which fits a little better in the chest and snug in the hips. The sleeves are long on all of them, but I plan on rolling them up. I decided to go with the 1x based on reviews stating that it stretches in the water. Note that this is not a wet suit top, so it won't keep you warm. I hope that it will keep me a little warm as well as keep the sun off me. The zipper is easy to use and it is as flattering as it can be.

Yay it fits. I got the black 3x. I sunburn easily and also get underarm irritation from life jackets, so a long sleeve swim shirt seems like a dream come true. Finding 1 I like, in my size, at a reasonable price... more like a nightmare. This 1, well its black. Black is flattering, but not exactly helpful to keep cool. It may not matter whilest swimming, but I was warm just trying it on.However, IT FITS! nicely! its a little loose in the sleeves, and I did need to stretch it to zip it shut around my big womens 3x size. I was mostly worried about my bust (approx 54" 46DDD) but it worked fine. It stretched around, and zipped and was comfortable while wearing it closed (warm but comfie). There was a loose thread that got the zipper stuck, but once i figured it worked easily. I have not worn this in the water.

I haven't used or washed it yet, but it fits really well and is quite comfortable. It feels like regular swimsuit fabric, which was exactly what I was looking for to protect me from all day sun on a resort vacation. It seems well-made. The seams and zipper were good quality. The size is right on target - I ordered a 1X and it fit just like my 1X shirts and tops. The sleeves are slightly longer than a traditional long-sleeved shirt in the same size, but that's great because I can roll them up slightly or wear them all the way down for some protection for the backs of my hands. I would definitely order this again.

I wouldn't say this product is an overall bad fit, for the most part it fits nicely in the right spots, that is, except for the arms. Like many other reviewers have stated that the sleeves are extra-long for some reason. I had to roll them up several times in order for my hands to be visible. It really sucked because as soon as I got into the water they'd just unroll anyway. That's the main reason I quit wearing it.So, my take is this, if you're getting it to use as an everyday sort of light jacket to wear out to run errands and have protection from the sun then this is perfect. However, if you're buying this to wear while swimming, I'd pass on it unless you can deal with the sleeves swaying around in the water or if you're savvy enough to sew them up to the right length. I have to say though, it does offer superior protection from the sun. Not once did I get a burn in or out of the water while wearing it and I never wore sunscreen underneath.

I got this to use in the pool at the Y because the water is freezing cold. I wanted to see if the shirt would help keep me from being too chilly and this cutting my exercise short. I am pleasantly surprised! I've been wearing the top this week and absolutely love it. Of course, it is still wet clothing, but it helps keep the chill at bay. I'm inside while wearing this so I can't say anything about the sun protection, I'm sure it is just fine. This fit is really good for me, I am presently in between sizes, it is not tight, but not falling off at 3X. The sleeves are a bit too long, but not overly so. I like to wear loose clothing, so it is perfect. Love that it zips up too! I hate pulling wet swimsuit tops over my head and this is the perfect solution.
