Dell P2419H 24" Full High Definition IPS LED Monitor , Black

This is an IPS screen so not best for gaming at expert level, a similar priced TN screen would probably be a better choice.NOW THE GOOD STUFF, this monitor is brilliant. Its build quality is excellent, its design is fab, the stand is sturdy, no wobbles here, there is a hole in the stand to feed the cables through, to keep things tidy. The screen can be rotated 90 degrees which is useful for web browsing. It rotates on is base, can be raised on lowered and tilted hence is easy to setup for easy viewing. The bottom of the screen has downward-facing ports: 1 x DisplayPort 1.2, 1 x HDMI 1.4, 1 x VGA, plus 1 x upstream USB 3.0, and two downstream USB 2.0, it also has 2 x USB 3.0 ports on the left hand side. The buttons to control its features are on the right hand side under the screen and can be a little fiddly, however they are fairly intuitive and you soon get used to them. Once setup they are likely to only be used to change the port used. The thing also look very smart with very small bevels around the top and sides of the screen , which means it does not take up much more desk space than its width, the bottom however is bigger.I've left the best till last the viewing angles are extremely impressive, the colour brilliant, clear and easy on the eyes. I've used it for playing some games, editing photos and general stuff like web browsing and can not fault it.I know there are many cheaper monitors available, I have owned several. However this monitor punches above its weight you would probably pay another £100 to beat it. I think its that (very very) good and recommend that you consider it when choosing a monitor.AND no I do not work for dell or amazon, the choice is yours.

I bought 2 of these monitors for my work primarily as I need dual screen. I went for this model because of the ultra slim bezel round the edge which works brilliantly for a dual screen setup. Also, it just looks quality. The picture is very good quality also.I also use these monitors for my gaming PC. The monitor is 1080p resolution at 60Hz, which is perfectly fine for casual gaming. If you are a serious gamer looking for upwards of 60FPS, then you won't be interested in this monitor.It has a metal stand which is very high quality. Some others have reported this has a DVI port... it doesn't. Just displayport, HDMI, and VGA, which is adequate for most purposes.

We bought two of these and are thrilled with them.1 x For my wife and 1 x for me.I use mine as a vertical display (portrait mode) so that I can read sheet music scores when playing from my keyboard workstation. My wife uses hers in standard landscape mode for general work-related tasks, i.e. spreadsheets, tabular data and so forth and she likes it a lot.The image is sharp, bright and colourful. We can't detect any light bleed. The screen has an anti-glare coating so there is zero mirror-like reflections. The viewing angles are very wide. The build quality is outstanding. The stand is very sturdy and of a high quality and easy to attach. The bezel is very thin and so looks very stylish. The power consumption is very low.The only draw back is that the USB auxiliary power is switched off when the monitor is put into power down. Shame really as all attached peripherals go dead then. Whilst on, the monitor provides through feed for USB peripherals, which is handy so long as you don't power the monitor down when half way through an attached external SSD/HDD back up or other attached work in progress.All in all highly recommended. I will invest in a 27" version for my main monitor or even a 4K when Dell release it. I have confidence in Dell products if they are made like the P2419H.

I bought this to replace an old 19 inch monitor which didn't have adjustable height or tilt and was lower resolution. I used it to try out dual monitor working and finally decided to replace it with something better to go alongside my Dell U2415. I didn't buy another U2415 because I didn't have another HDMI port and I didn't really want to spend another 60 quid.Anyway, this monitor fits the bill. It adjusts so that the top matches the other monitor and slim bezels on both of them work well with dual screens. I found dual screens useful before but with decent monitors it's even better. I have no concerns with image quality. The colours on the two screens don't match perfectly but I suspect that I could improve matters with effort. In any case, the difference, while noticeable sometimes, doesn't bother me.I wish I'd bought it earlier.

These monitors are absolutely lovely I like the fact that they have adjustable height stands and they can also rotate. It also has sufficient connection types and the quality of the video is very good I would highly recommend it

Bought two of these Dell P2419H monitors after retiring my Dell U24" that was 4yrs old.I originally bought two Acer Nitro RG270 monitors, but returned them as both suffered from light bleed and overall image quality was quite poor.But the Dell P2419H are beautiful monitors at that price point, its hard to fined good quality over what looks flashy.And these deliver on quality for cash.

Does everything it promises to deliver. I purchased one to connect to my Dell Laptop usb-c dock. It connects via HDMI. There is a second outlet on the dock for DP connection. As the screen supports both, I purchased a second one and now have my desktop extended between the 2! If you are buying for a Dell, these monitors are also supported by the Dell Display Manager which provides all kinds of fancy control over both monitors.
