Intel CM8066002395300 XEON Processor E5-1630V4, 4C, 3.7GHZ 10M Cache, DDR4 UP to 2400 MHZ, 140W

This CPU was purchased to replace one with more than double the cores but half the clock speed. The system it is used in is for AutoCAD Civil3D. Prior to this CPU the 8 core 1.7GHz CPU (same series and generation) could not keep up with the demands of AutoCAD much less the Civil3D parts. Even just the mouse (crosshair) was jumpy on a blank screen, and if objects were selected in a drawing, you were in for serious delays. In learning that AutoCAD does not know how to multithread, it became apparent only one core is needed for AutoCAD, so this 4-core 3.7GHz CPU was installed. The difference was HUGE. Everything runs smoothly, and there are no delays in any processing tasks now.
