Worked first time.
Couldn't get my Nikon remote control to work so ordered this one..After setting up it worked first time,well pleased.

Front facing usage.
Been trying to get a wireless remote for my P900 Coolpix camera, which has 82x Zoom. This works but if you try to use it behind the camera it won't work right, you have to literally be in front or side of camera. Great when your trying to take full zoom shots of the moon......Not !!

Nice remote, a lot cheaper than the Nikon ones and works fine on the P900...

WONT WORK ON D3100
This item will not work a D3100 as the new ones have no infa red sensors fitted. This should be made clear on the description
