I bought this as a replacement for the infuser that came with my glass teapot (which broke while in the sink awhile ago) but since I couldn't remember what brand the original was, I was a little worried that this wouldn't fit- it arrived perfectly, exactly as described, and the manufacturers send a nice email to ensure that the product arrives safely, since it is so fragile. It fits in my teapot perfectly & I'm so happy it all worked out.

The glass infusers are prone to breaking so I have bought from these folks before. The latest version is even better than the others I bought. These are not quite so long so the tea leaves have a better chance to steep in the pot. These are easier to clean as an added bonus. I'd give them six stars if that were possible.

It's sturdy glass. The lip is a little thick, so my top to the tea-pot sits slightly higher than before, but close enough to stay closed and hot while brewing. Also, I think it would be prettier if it tapered a little as you go down to the bottom of the infuser (as the original did, giving a much more elegant appearance). But overall, for the money, I was pleased to find this and very happy to have the use of my teapot once again!

I bought this infuser knowing it might not be the perfect replacement for a glass tea pot we have and was missing it. However, with the accurate measurements provided, I took a chance and although it doesn’t fit perfectly well as the original, it will extend the life of the tea pot as it works and fits reasonably well..

Die Teesiebe aus Baumwolle finde ich ineffizient, da sie nicht nur nach einiger Zeit unappetitlich aussehen, sondern sich nicht hygienisch reinigen lassen (in der Waschmaschiene = Waschmittel im Tee, mit Spüli werden sie weder sauber noch würde ich erneut Tee darin zubereiten wollen).Bei 1 x zu verwendenen Teebeuteln aus "Papier" oder anderen Zusammensetzungen, ist die Nachhaltigkeit in Frage zu stellen.Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative habe ich mich für Teabloom entschieden. Erfüllt absolut seinen Zweck, aber es ist darauf zu achten, dass das Glas oder die Tasse "tief" genug ist. Eine klassische Teetasse aus einem Teeservice ist dafür ungeeignet, da die Füllmenge für ca. 1 Teelöffel losen Tee in dem Teabloom ja auch noch durch das hinzufügen von heißem Wasser ausdehnt und der Tee sich nicht entsprechend in einer kleinen Tasse entfalten kann. Ich trinke gerne Englisch-Breakfas-Tea und den dann aus BECHERN mit bis zu 500 ml Fassungsvermögen.Spülmaschinen geeignet; am einfachsten geht der Teerest im feuchten bzw. nassen Zustand aus dem Teabloom und lässt sich gut nachspülen.Als Alternative zu herkömmlichen Teesieben-/beuteln: empfehlenswert !
