Two monitors work amazingly well
I have used a Geekom mini PC as my desktop for two years, and it drives the two large monitors on my desk and even the 55-inch TV on the wall, and I have gotten used to that amount of workspace, especially for programming and other data analytic work. So we are traveling, and my old laptop does not cut it any longer and has only one screen. I like a two+ monitor setup and I like the two monitors to be the same size (call it a symmetry issue). I decided that my Mini IT11 Geekom would do the traveling, but it has no screen at all. After searching all portable monitors on Amazon, I centered on the ALOLG 17.3 inch monitors and bought TWO of them. I was attracted by the features, looks, and price. I am thrilled so far. They work out of the box (one connected USB-C and the other connected by HDMI. The Geekom powered the USB-C connection, but not the HDMI. No matter, I have both connected to the USB-A to USB-C power supply brick that came in the box. All the connections I needed are in the box and I was glad there was both a 'C' and 'HDMI' cable since my older Geekom (can drive 4 monitors, but all connected differently) - (newer Geekoms have dual HDMI and ... well go look that up yourself. Not a negative for me, but HDR did not work on both monitors at the same time, but I don't care about that. Also, I was able to up one and then both refresh rates to 144Mhz, although not until I plugged them into the power supply. Speaking of which, some description of the power consumption of the included brick and whether it is safe to use a higher wattage would have been nice for me since I am not conversant with that kind of tech detail. I still distrust the covers (which are nice) to hold the monitor steady, but so far so good. The angle is perfect for me. I do like that the cover is not one of those wrap-around and under covers that take up valuable space. They have a very clean appearance, as seen in the picture. BTW, I am working just as I would on my home setup; my travel productivity just increased. i now know I can use it with my TAB (in Dex), my phone, and even my ancient laptop. I have high confidence that they will work simply because of how smooth this beginning is. If not, I will come back and modify this review. My only issue is that I wish that ALOLG had discussed the durability of the screen more in their advertisement. Exactly how resistant are they to accidental scratches? My worry is that they come with a relatively thick screen protector fixed to the top edge. Do I need to leave it in place because the screen surface is delicate? Or should I remove it and take my chances? I wish they told more about this. BTW I can lift up the clear sheet covering the screen and the matte finish on the screens are excellent. Again, I am just wondering how important it is to affix a screen protector, either the one included or an aftermarket tablet screen protector. Finally, I can get the Geekom, my Logi wireless keyboard and mouse, and both monitors in my travel case. They are so thin and protected by the cover that they take up minimal room in my bag. No longer will I have to haul my "monitor box" to have a larger and second monitor when I travel. By the way, the footprint of my setup up as you can see includes the d the monitors measures a eekom and wires that are behind it measure 32" x 18" so this set up would comfortable fit on any small hotel desk (or MIL's dining table). Bottom line, I am thrilled.

Great little display for a great price!
I can finally give an honest review of this product now that I've ironed out some kinks. Honestly, for the price, this thing is amazing. The HDR and DCR work great. Can't say whether or not Freesync or 120hz works or how well, as I am using it through my s22 Ultra to cloud game and as a virtual machine for my desktop through Dex and Steamlink. Firstly, I highly recommend you order a dock for HDMI output and charging if you're going to use this product for Samsung Dex. I was having issues with the display cycling randomly and the higher I set the brightness, the worse it seemed to get. I just don't think that the interface in the monitor has what it takes to charge your device and run the display at the same time, which makes sense. Have no issues running video through the mini hdmi and charging my phone through my dock. It's super handy that the display has a 3.5mm jack for a wired headset as my dock does not. Five out of five stars, would highly recommend to friends and family.

Compact, Bright, and High-Resolution Portable Display
I wanted a portable monitor to pair with my 13" Windows laptop for extra workspace, and this product delivers beautifully. It stands out from competing options thanks to its smaller size, higher resolution, and impressive brightnessโall powered by a single USB-C cable. Overall, this portable display is bright, sharp, and compactโan excellent companion for a 13" laptop when you need more screen space without sacrificing clarity. ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ - The brightness is excellent once adjusted. By default, the screen starts at only 30%, but pressing the knob on the right upward quickly boosts it to 100%. I estimate the brightness to be at least 300โ350 nits, which is noticeably better than many portable monitors capped at 250โ300 nits. Compared to my laptopโs 400-nit display, this monitor looks nearly as bright. One important detail is that the top USB-C port (C2) remembers your last brightness setting, while the bottom port (C1) always resets to 30%, which I find far too dim. ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป - Resolution is another highlight. At 2256x1504 (2K), it offers sharper clarity than the typical 1920x1080 (1080P) found in most portable monitors. Text and visuals look crisp, and the higher resolution makes a real difference in everyday use. ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ - The size is also ideal. At 13.3", it pairs perfectly with my 13" laptop. I prefer this smaller footprint over bulkier 14" or 15" models, since it maintains clarity and works seamlessly with my Windows scaling and accessibility font size settings. For me, higher resolution is more valuable than a larger screen. ๐ก๐ผ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ - Itโs worth noting that this monitor uses IPS technology rather than OLED. OLED panels, like those found in high-end iPhones and iPads, offer deeper contrast and richer colors, but they also come at a higher price. While some 13" OLED portable monitors exist ( like this one ), they are more expensive, so this IPS option strikes a good balance of performance and affordability. ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ - One of the other reviewers said the product wouldn't stand reliably for them. Make sure you're using the back panel bent at the top (flush with the monitor), so only the lower part of the panel bends back like an easel. My product is very stable like this.
