The media could not be loaded. Great, portable keyboard. Will (or at least the third one I bought) not connect to Bluetooth until plugged into a Lightning power source and turned on. Works very well, though its best carried in a towel or bag when traveling; dings and scratches appear easily. Have a lightning cable pre-purchased.Purchased first around 2 months ago, first on April 18th. Arrived without a lightning cable twice, and kept the third, gave up thinking it came without.Never received the lightning cable, but I just remembered now because my used Magic Mouse cable (stock) frayed and gave out. Writing my review a bit late, and I already have a Native Union replacement cable shipping from Amazon, but just deciding to write some quirks that come in the boxIf I can still get the weaved cable though, It’d make me even more happy. The media could not be loaded. Authentic Apple keyboard. Right out of the box, it connected seamlessly to my Macbook Pro. The layout is exactly like my M1 Macbook except for one thing. There is no space around the arrow keys, so if you prefer that, you can get the longer keyboard. But for the price and my needs, this keyboard is perfect for me. Also note, that this keyboard does not have the finger print, again there's a different version if you need that. I love this one for my every day use when I'm using my standing desk and I want to use this and a mouse instead of the laptop. Very satisfied! Oh and not having to use batteries or plug it in is definitely a big upgrade as well.

works great, looks great. Great keyboard. Holds its charge a long time, but if it does go dead- charges up real quick.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because it was Apple. However after returning a perfectly good McCauley keyboard because it didn't have backlit keys, I replaced it with this Apple keyboard because the AMAZON listing said that it has backlit keys. It does not, and no Apple Magic keyboard for Mac has backlit keys.EDIT: Tek Galaxy explained that an AI writes the title to these. They corrected it and offered to refund my purchase if I desired.

Keyboard works, but will not charge with the cable provided nor any other I have around.
