Big Book of Breasts by Hanson, Dian (2006) Hardcover

Well, now you know what holiday gift to get the breast man in your life! This weighty tome is stuffed with spectacular photos of some of the greatest all-natural big-breasted models the world has ever seen, plus some amusing interviews with great big-boob stars like June Wilkinson, Candy Samples, and Uschi Digard. There are a few strange omissions here. Though legends like Roberta Pedon and Joyce Mandel get their proper due, missing in action are such equally remarkable models as Arlene Bell, Lane Weldon, and Pam Brown. It is also strange that a book devoted to all-natural models would include an interview with Kitten Natividad, whom the book confirms had silicone enhancement. And then the book ends in the seventies, presumably because more recent photos of more recent subjects would be copyrighted. The fact is, lovers of natural breasts know that we have actually entered a NEW golden age. Current all-natural models like Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Autumn-Jade, Chloe Vevrier, and Nicole Peters of the Score Group -- which has become the new "MGM Studios of the SuperNaturals" -- all equal or surpass the legends in this book. And then there is the stunning Russian shopgirl who goes by the nom de bazoom Merilyn Sekova -- she is probably the greatest slim and stacked model of all time. Unfortunately none of these beauties appear in this book, but one hopes that Dian Hanson will be able to compile a sequel... Otherwise I agree with the other reviewer who wished for an index of models here -- that would be helpful. And you have to love the cover -- the picture here doesn't show you it works. The black lingerie you see resides on a clear plastic sleeve, which you can peel off to reveal the mouthwatering rack beneath in its bare mountainous majesty. Russ Meyer would have been thrilled!

From the "perv" in me, the focus on breasts, frankly, is right up my alley. :)The execution of this book, however, is clearly on the art book level. It is a beautiful, large coffee table style book. The large b/w and color photos are extraordinary and beautifully printed. The text gives both context for these photos and offers extensive interviews with various models and people involved in the business. Furthermore, the plastic cover of the book is actually a virtual bra for the woman's torso underneath it. If you look at the cover art on this page, the black bra can be "removed" by removing the plastic dust jacket. Extremely clever. This book would be worth it at its retail price of $50, but at the approximately $33, it's a bargain. Even my wife, who is not particularly interested in women's bodies, found this book fascinating.

This book is the ultimate display of the voluptuous female form! No silicone, no additives, just 100% natural female bodies as the body was intended.I'm a fan of natural females and the voluptuous woman is the woman that drives me crazy. Without a doubt this book is the book to have for any man who apreciates the history of the voluptuous female. I was born in the 1970s, but I remember reading "Gent" magazine and seeing many of these beautiful women reprinted in the pages of that once fantastic magazine. The magazine to see women with these types of bodies today would be the great magazine "Voluptuous." See Bailey Santanna in the September 2009 issue and you will be in awe. Her body harkens us back to the buxom beauties of yesteryear (Like Candy Kane and Annie Sprinkle). She was so great that I had to write to the editors to congratulate them for having her (See My Letter To The Editor In The January 2010 Issue of "Voluptuous"). But I digress.I must lament the lack of a glossary or index, but that is a quibble. Tashen did an overall remarkable job with the book. It is an absolute Five-Star book and more! A. The first thing that struck me was the cover of the book. The black bra is printed on a transparent sheet that can be removed and discovering the beautiful naked breasts. The book is of very good quality and has many photographs "unpublished" that reveal the beauty of large breasts. Beautiful women and smiling. Great information on the history of pleasure and taste for huge breasts.Great size, excellent quality of the book and very good photographs.Maybe something is missing are more recent pictures of the last 20 years in women with beautiful breasts.

this is the book Matthew McConaughey is looking at in tropic thunder when hes on the phone with Ben Stiller talking about how they need to shave his head and get him back on the monkey bars. i saw it there, hunted it down and had to have it. i even had to order it twice cuz my neighbor (or mailman?) stole it out of my mailbox. its really thick and hard to hide so dont bother if thats an issue. if you're a real man and dont mind having a boob book that doubles as a work bench layin around this is for you. not all the faces are top notch but the boobs are and thats the point isnt it? they're also old school and have that classic look when girls had really awesome boobs and not like the globes that are firmly and ungracefully surgically attached to their bodies today.

The book came damaged but otherwise as described

This book is exceptionally well done. The photos are on almost every page. They are large and clear. Us old timers will remember many, many of the names of these beautiful ladies and their endowments.The stories are great too. I wish the book were twice as long with twice the stories. But then it would still not be enough.I love looking through it again and again.Dian Hanson has done an outstanding editing job. As with all her books this one is another winner.My one tiny complaint is I wish there were an index of the models and the pages their photos were on. There are several of many of the models and it would be nice to compare them one after the other.

The vast majority of the images are old and dated. Same models are continually throughout the book. Would not recommend purchasing.

If you are breasts-obsessed, this book is your keeper. Beautiful breasts from beautiful models, all big and voluptuous. Most of the photos are black and white to probably emphasize historical aspects, but also that breasts are best seen in that format because black and white lighting makes them look shiny and smooth. Some of the articles about the models in the book include Uschi Digard, Tempest Storm, June Wilkinson and Kitten Natividad. This book has a big surprise at the end...and I won't spoil it.
