This is a good value for a large jug. This January my house plants were looking a bit sad. So I ordered this fish fertilizer, gave it a dilution, and man did my plants perk up. I live on the 43rd parallel, so didn't think houseplants would need to be fed in January. Well, I guess they are considered tropical, so they definitely needed some nutrients. This is a universal fertilizer that I use outside on my perennials and my roses. They love it. I combine it with some sea salt, and throughout the summer this fertilizer makes everything look great. It is very smelly, so you will definitely need to take a shower after you administer this to multiple plants! And after one day of using this indoors, you will smell it. But eventually it absorbs into the soil and the odor disappears. So I wouldn't be using it the day before you have company, hee hee. And, be wary that some pets might want to put their nose in your house plants after you use this. My dogs like to dig around my plants when I use it outside in the spring. So on days I fertilize, dogs are not with me. But this stuff works! thank you Amazon for making this available.

Plants love it but it smells TERRIBLE. My elderly deaf dog dug up my plants that I used the Fish Fertilizer on. He has NEVER done anything like it. So the smell is terrible for humans but absolutely delicious to dogs. Take that or leave it. (I did see good leaf growth afterwards and no burning. I mixed as described.) Gotta air out your house and change your clothes after fertilizer. It’s pungent.

I have used this for several years on my ferns. My ferns are massive and very healthy, they love this stuff. The smell is awful but since I use on outdoor plants, it goes away in a couple of days.
