I received a 2018 iPad for my birthday this year. After looking at a ton of different cases for it, I decided on this one! Although there aren’t many reviews, the reviews were good and I loved the look of this case (and the fact that the apple logo showed through the case!) I wanted something with a backlit keyboard, and the ability to be able to still use the iPad as just a tablet for playing games without having to take it out of the case. I also wanted to be able to just sit on the couch and be able to type or watch movies.I purchased the rose gold case, and am beyond pleased with it. It is sturdy and beautiful. The color is gorgeous, and I love the feel of the case. The keyboard is fast and responsive. It only took about 30 minutes for it to fully charge out of the box (it came mostly charged) Installing the iPad was easy, it just snaps in. It’s also fairly easy to remove as well, just takes a bit more effort to get it out than in. It took me a minute to figure out how to pair my iPad to it, but that is my fault as I didn’t fully read the instructions. The keyboard will show up under Bluetooth options, but you actually have to press fn+c to get it to actually pair with your iPad.The lighting on the keyboard is awesome. There are multiple colors, and multiple brightness levels which I love. I’m typing this review on the keyboard now. It’s very easy to type on, and have had no lag or issues at all with typing.The case is very sturdy, and has a good weight to it. It’s not too heavy, but heavy enough to be sturdy and I feel like it will protect my iPad well. The iPad will stay in whatever position you put it in, it’s not top heavy. The part where it rotates feels sturdy, I don’t foresee having any problems with it. I love how you can flip the tablet over and have it lying against the keyboard to use as a regular tablet.I can’t comment fully on battery life, as I have yet to have to re charge the keyboard, but so far so good!I feel like this is an amazing case for the money, and well worth it! If anything changes i’ll update this review!

I’ve had this case for about a month. It fits my iPad 2018 perfectly, a little snug which makes me even more confident that it’s secure in the case. Delivery was super quick. Bluetooth setup and connection was easy. The bluetooth keyboard does skip a letter if typing too fast, but nothing that has hindered me from using it for daily use, including writing papers on it. Also the top which holds the iPad is heavy and if angled too far back it will tip over. But this I expected since the iPad is obviously heavier than the case (thankfully, otherwise the case would be even heavier). This doesn’t happen often but if you have the case in the laptop position and the screen too far back it will tip backwards. Doesn’t happen often but it’s possible. And the case is metal so it’s got some weight to it, which again I expected and appreciate the extra protection. Some cool features are the multi colored backlights, the auto sleep mode when the case is closed, good quality, tough, the peek hole for the Apple logo on the ipad, and the swivel neck allows it to be put in any position which I’ve been doing on a regular for the last month with no issues or signs of loosening. A great buy. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this for my iPad 9.7 6th generation and i love it so much. I turned my iPad into a cute rose gold laptop. I just love that the keys have several different colors as the backlit. I change the colors from time to time. I can type in the dark which i like while watching a spooky movie which i am doing right now. I chose this one instead of the others because I also like how it shows the apple logo on the back cover. Many others just cover the whole back of the iPad. Don’t worry if you have an Apple Pencil and there’s no where to put it. I just bought a sleeve off of amazon and it sticks to the back of the keyboard when not the laptop is closed or at the top of the screen when open. It’s magnetic. So no problem there. Overall this is great. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars because this is so so heavy. If you drop this something will break. Just be careful. You cant go wrong if you want to make your iPad into a cute small laptop.

This was a gift for Christmas and While it is esthetically nice, It seems Once you put your iPad in it, it’s in it forever.. There is no way to take it out of the case without breaking either the case or the iPad.. and I’m not interested in breaking either, especially the latter. It is slower to respond than a laptop or desktop keyboard, some buttons stick like F and Enter unfortunately. You can only tilt your screen back so far, the bottom is heavy, but not enough to keep it fro tipping. The keyboard lights are a nice touch and it was super easy to pair, it can rotate to any position.. It is stiff when you first use it but loosens up quickly. I am keeping it, but I would really like to be able to swap cases when I want without having to break one!Update; 1-8-19 Getting the iPad out is actually easy, If you rotate the screen inward at a 45 Degree angle, put one hand on the screen and pull back on each clip at the top it will come right out. It is still a little slow to respond and some keys still stick, overall it is a pretty good case.
