Superb design, detail, and performance, just like all the Kato products. The locomotive is powerful, and the details of the engine and freight cars are true to life. Delighted with this train set. Have been buying Kato products for several years and have never been disappointed.

Kato quality and detailing in the iconic Santa Fe blue nosed locomotive. Every Kato N scale product I've purchased has reasonable level of detail, looks good, and works well. The package contains all you need for a small consist that runs well out of the box. The locomotive has a flywheel motor with plenty of power for smooth pulling.
