GOAT for text based usage.
I bought this to replace an old Samsung Tab 6 Lite and it’s perfect for my usage case: reading ebooks, writing with a pen on a word processor, note taking and annotating ebooks and PDF files. For a predominantly text based user, it’s a fantastic machine, easy on the eyes and budget. You can use the TCL Pen or any universal disc stylus (less precise but still converts to text correctly, the converter is very good). The huge screen is terrific with lots of space to write in while viewing a good chunk of text at the same time. For multimedia consumption, I have an iPad for that. So in summary, as a sole tablet, I wouldn’t have bought this but as a complementary tablet whose primary purpose is for text and reading, it’s the best.

Great for reading music and beyond
This works beautifully for music reading. I had been waiting for it to come out for months for this purpose. It has a big enough screen to see sheet music at normal sizes and without the glare and eye fatigue of a normal tablet. It's very close to reading regular music. I also love reading and it functions as an e-reader very well in color and black and white. Otherwise in regular mode it works great as an android tablet and is super smooth with a crisp display. Highly recommend this.

decent tablet / e-reader
This is a pretty good value, for the price point. The overall quality is good, though not amazing. The sound is okay, but not great. The charging speed and battery life leave a little to be desired, but still defiantly okay. I've included pictures that show the 3 different color modes. In full color, it's very vibrant. There's a color enhancement feature you can use, but to me that makes things look oversaturated. The color paper mode and paper mode seem to be desaturation coupled with simplifying some icons to look better with fewer colors. The paper modes are not as comfortable on the eyes as e-ink, but it's better than normal LED screen blue light. This isn't a high performance tablet, or a dedicated e-reader. This is really a hybrid of sorts, that does okay at both. This should be good for adults and kids alike. Overall, I'm pleased with this, and I've enjoyed using it.

Good but far from perfect
I thought the battery would last a lot longer in paper modes, but I think it just makes it a little easier on the eyes but does't save any battery like other e-paper displays that last much longer. The matte screen is pretty cool, while not as bright as some other tablets, it's sufficient... The size is pretty awesome, it's bigger than the biggest Apple iPad I think. Pen could be better, but again it's sufficient, doesn't actually come with any note taking software pre-installed, and has to be purchased, unlike Samsung or Apple tablets. Also, the cover is not magnetic, so it often slips for me, but better than not having one... Kinda wish the cover also had a keyboard like many others. I actually thought about returning it mostly becuase I hoped it would be more like e-ink with very long battery life, but I decided to keep it pretty much only because I like the screen size and it's not too expensive of a tablet.

This tablet is HUGE and it offers a lot in crossover features available in one device.
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this tablet for a few days now, and I purchased it for streaming video, light online shopping, Kindle Unlimited perusing… Tik Toks, and other social media. I refuse to download any of my banking apps, debit cards, or other serious apps. It stores my photo library… and my most used apps. So, that’s all it’s for, and for my purposes it’s absolutely perfect. The size makes it my cozy at home device exclusively. This is the tablet I’ll take on long trips to be able to watch tv in bed… Not a day travel device in my book. It’s really large and rectangular. It’s like carrying around a computer monitor. Holding it feels like I’m just chilling in bed with a desktop monitor and it’s kind of hilarious, but I like it a lot. The screen texture is really glare-free. The minimal color settings are awesome. I love that. The speakers are pretty great. I’m a mom and my kids get the main tv, so I hang out with this tablet and it can handle background noises and kids… I use it in the kitchen for YouTube recipes and things. It’s perfect for music videos. My husband has the iPad Air 13inch and I have the iPad mini 7… so I didn’t want to spend another $900. This is the right device for screen size and recreational use. I wanted a Boox color device but again, that’s price point is $500-$700 and I just wanted to indulge in Prime week without breaking bank. I scored this tablet for $319 and that was a sweet spot. I’m happy. The battery life is decent enough. I can watch quite a bit before I need to hook up to charge. So far, I can get 8 -10 hours of use before I need to charge. And that’s on streaming, music… heavy use. Not just window shopping.
