Q: I just received mine but the lid is very wobbly- is it supposed to be? I can't find a spot where it doesn't wobble.

The lid on mine is wobbly, too. Every Crock Pot I've had (and I got my first one back in the early 1960's) has had a wobbly lid. It's designed that way to allow some steam to come out and keep the lid from popping off like a pressure cooker would. This one may be a bit more wobbly than some others, but it works just fine. I have dinner cooking in mine right now, and I can guarantee it'll be ready when I want it -- and delicious! :)

Q: Does this have an auto shut off? or does it automatically go to warmer mode after a certain time?

No it does not have an auto shut off or go to a warmer mode. It's 4 settings are just "off", "low", "high" and "warm".

Q: Is it normal for the new ones boil so quickly? Old one on low use to be ideal to go to work for 8 hrs, new one cooks in 2-3 hours - too hot/too fast.
