Unpacking the bed was easy and as expected. But- if you’re planning on sleeping on it, I don’t recommend it. All 4 corners are slumped down dramatically, as if the springs there are smashed. We got it for our giant dog to lay on so it’s ok but had it been for a human I would have wanted a refund. Def disappointing.

We bought 2 of these in twin bed size for a bunk room in a beach house (and also 2 of the 8"). They are, to me at least, surprisingly comfortable. They appear to be pretty well made too. I am not sure I think they'd be great in a queen because structure is so much more important in a larger mattress, but in a twin, they are great, and they are a great buy. The added plus is that they are so cool to watch come out of the wrapper.

After downsizing from a queen to a full, and just trimming my 20 year old ikea foam mattress to fit the full bed to go the cheap route...I had been hemming and hawing getting a new mattress even though i was sleeping horribly the past year and a half. Waking up and having to turn over many times in the night due to hip pain...even with a memory foam topper added. My niece told me about this brand and had gotten a few mattresses over the past 6 years from them. I got a little extra bonus before xmas and this was the top thing I knew I needed to finally get. IM SO HAPPY I DID!!! It came 3 days early (and 2 days before xmas yey!) Although it was a bit heavy...I got it out of the box and took it step by step up to my room with some help from my 79 yr old mom lol Unrolling it was simple and I was sleeping on it 6 hours later. I'm someone who loves sleeping on soft cloud-like things like a memory foam beanbag or a super cozy couch...but this is just right in support and has enough softness for me. I was skeptical when ordering because of the springs but I have no complaints at all. It didn't have any odor at all and I actually look forward to going to bed now because my body doesn't wake me up to turn over. I am so so so thankful i ordered this. So very happy with it. Wish I had just gotten one 5 years ago or so. My next mattress will most definitely be a Zinus again!!

It does not reach the advertised thickness, so please take that into consideration before purchasing. This is actually the second mattress I’ve purchased. I first bought the 10-inch version, but it only expanded to 9 inches, so I returned it. This time I ordered the 12-inch mattress with clear expectations that it would likely reach only 11 inches, and that’s exactly what happened. The mattress feels comfortable so far. Time will tell how long it stays that way. However, it’s important to note that it consistently expands about 1 inch less than what is stated on the box.
