Having carried out a good bit of research, I purchased the Truefree DS1 Open-Ear Headphones recently and I am delighted with them. The snug ear-hook design makes them really comfortable and secure, even during gym workouts and road running (while still allowing me to be fully awate of surrounding sounds like cars, bikes etc). The sound is clear and spacious, phone calls come through perfectly - probably related to the 4 mics on the headphones, and the 40-hour battery life is a huge plus, which is way longer than my previous headphones. . Fast charging and multipoint connection work seemlessy, and the IPX5 (waterprof) rating gives me peace of mind for outdoor use. Overall, fantastic value and performance, delighted with my purchase at such a competitive price.

Okay, so because some of the reviews seem to be confused about the style of earplugs, these hook over the ear and sit outside of the ear so not pushed into the ear canal. They sit fine and are extremely light. The connection to phone is quite simply open the case and if your Bluetooth is on wait for both ear pieces lights to turn a solid blue and not flashing, the sound quality is very good and clarity is good, battery durability and length of time usage has not been tested yet but so far they're lasting quite a while, these will NOT block out outside noise from the ear because they don't sit in the ear canal, if you don't won't to hear the outside world whilst using these then don't buy them and buy ones that sit in the ear canal, I bought these because I can't find buds any that don't fall out, because I have small canals, if you buy these for exactly what they are designed for, then you won't be disappointed, however... The app that you don't need, if you download it, even if you select English.. some of it is still Chinese which is annoying

I'm still not too sure how I feel about these. They are good quality, the sound is good and the fact that I can connect to multiple devices is literally brilliant....but although they "fit" the ear as in they work but they do not actually fit "in" my ear, they just hover over the ear opening...I'd like them to better. The rubber replacable ear plugs (for want of a better word) simply don't do anything as they seem to hover over my ear. Tried all 3 sizes of plugs. Probably my understanding of how these are supposed to fit but if I press the earphones into my ear they sound 3 x louder and the bass becomes so much better which leads me to think that they do not fit. What would make them fit is the rubber ring that goes around the ear should be made to bend to the shape I want, this would force the earphone closer to the ear and therefore be liuder. Despite all of this they are loud enough. In fact they are great, but I am left feeling that they could fit so much better. Great quality for the price. The charge capacity is good, the charging case is good but the lanyard that joins the two together is difficult to remove so that the earphones will fit in the case and charge. Case should be bigger to hold the lanyard as well otherwise you put the earphones in their case and then need to carry the lanyard separately....so I threw the lanyard away as constantly having to detach it was irritating.

Small and surprising pure sound. Comfortable to wear and they really last 10 hours on a single charge. Can’t say if they will get 4 full charges between plugging in but I have definitely had 3. They fit so well that I can sleep with them and wake with them still firmly in place. What’s not to like. They’re the best small cheap headphones I’ve had (normally replaced earphones every 18 to 24 months but I expect these ones to last longer). Highly recommend.

These were brilliant right up to last couple of days when I experienced slight connection issues then this morning it fell off my ear!!!!! It was obviously failing slowly and gave up completely. As it's over the 30 day return I've not found a way of seeking a replacement or refund! They're less than 3 months old!!! Come on Amazon

Been using these almost daily now for over a month and have to say these are my favourite go to headphones on the go. Sound quality 8/10 For this type of headphone they are very good in the high range but lack depth in bass Comfort 10/10 I’m a glasses wearer and they fit well even with these on. They are very lightweight and you barely notice when you have them on. Fit 10/10 Only when moving quickly do they come loose but as daily moving round the house or at work they are snug Overall would definitely recommend these to anyone that wants a lightweight good quality set

These headphones are great, I always seem to come back to Truefree because they're cost effective and great quality. I bought these for my teenage daughter so a few things were important - charge display is easy to understand so (hopefully) she'll manage to keep them charged. I wanted her to be aware of her surroundings rather than be 'sealed in' so these on ear buds allow some ambient noise in (unless you crank up the volume). They don't leak sound either. Sound quality is fantastic, and the app allows you to tweak the EQ (if you want, there's no real need). Battery life is good and the digital display helps you keep track with a percentage rather than three lights, and a bar graph for the buds. Inside the lid is a storage place for replacement rubber cone things which is great as they always get lost. Important to my daughter is that the case is well designed and good quality. Really pleased with these.

Truefree DS1 earbuds after several weeks of using them daily. The overall build quality immediately stood out. The materials feel solid and well-engineered. The charging case and earbuds themselves feel well designed. The case incorporates a helpful display of charging status. Comfort has also been excellent. The earbuds sit securely without creating pressure or fatigue, even during extended listening sessions. It did take some getting used to the way the earpiece stopped short of the canal. With each use I appreciated them a little more to the point their presence is now barely noticeable. The audio is well-balanced and clear, with good detail across the range and a sense of separation. They perform consistently well across different types of content. Finally, multipoint connection support. The ability to seamlessly switch between devices works smoothly and reliably.

With my addiction to headphones and earbuds I was keen to try the new Trufree product. First thing I notice it that they are ascetically pleasing. The case has a nice texture that looks good and is functional was it is easy to grip and hold on to. Easy to fit into your pocket. The led display of the remaining battery is much nicer (and useful) that a few red dots. The fit is good for my ears. As they are not lodged deep in my ears they are very comfortable to wear for hours. They are light enough that you don't notice you are wearing them. The bluetooth connection is very quick and easy. I love that I can connect them to my phone and to my iPad simultaneously . The sound is great, good base. For the price point they punch much above their weight. Looks like my new favourite earbuds for now!

For its price, it's quite stylish, practical, and high-quality. I enjoy using it.

Mi experiencia con los truefree DS1 ha sido excelente. Son mis primeros auriculares de este tipo y los elegí basándome en las buenas referencias que había leído. Puedo decir que no me han defraudado en absoluto. Son muy cómodos y he podido llevarlos durante horas sin sentir molestias. Aunque había leído algunas reseñas que mencionaban el tamaño de las orejas y el ajuste, en mi caso la ergonomía ha sido perfecta: se sienten seguros y nada intrusivos. En el interior de la caja vienen unas gomas adaptadoras para mejorar aún más la comodidad; en mi caso no he notado una gran diferencia respecto a las que vienen montadas de serie, pero es un detalle que se agradece. No los he probado aún en espacios abiertos ni haciendo deporte, pero en mis desplazamientos caminando se mantienen firmes. No he tenido necesidad de usar el cable de seguridad anti caída, aunque me parece un valor añadido muy recomendable. La autonomía es realmente buena, lo que permite utilizarlos durante largas jornadas sin preocuparse por la batería. Además, la referencia visual de carga tanto en los auriculares como en el estuche facilita controlar el nivel restante y regular mejor los ciclos de carga. La configuración es sencilla e intuitiva, con varias opciones para personalizar el sonido. Aunque la configuración predeterminada ya ofrece una calidad notable, he probado otras que se adaptan mejor a distintas condiciones de escucha. El sonido espacial aporta una experiencia envolvente y los cuatro micrófonos garantizan llamadas claras incluso en entornos con ruido. El alcance del Bluetooth 6.0 también me ha sorprendido: he podido mantener conversaciones fluidas a una distancia considerable del móvil e incluso con alguna barrera arquitectónica de por medio. En resumen, unos auriculares muy recomendables por su comodidad, autonomía, facilidad de uso y rendimiento general. Una compra con la que estoy realmente satisfecho.
