I have owned probably a dozen different monitor arms over the years and this is by far the most impressive I've ever owned. It's very well thought out. Before purchasing it, I thought the little window with the spring was gimmicky and there for looks, but it is very functional. If you find yourself with your desk up against a wall and need to adjust it, it may be hard or impossible to swing the arm around to read the marking showing which way to turn the bolt to increase/decrease tension, but with the little window, you don't have to. Just make sure the tool is inserted - pretty easy to do blindly - and start turning. You can see through the window whether you're increasing or decreasing the arm's tension. So simple and so helpful! Despite it's budget price (I've paid twice for other arms), it feels very premium and is incredibly versatile. I appreciate that the mount has full vertical range. I bought two of these - one for a monitor and one to use as a laptop stand and I was able to mount it in its ideal position by making the mounting plate face the ceiling and using the holes on the underside of the mount. I love this thing! But if I had to nitpick I would say two things about it. As much as I love how it looks, I would love it if it came in flat black instead of the dark grey. it also has great vertical height range, but I wish it could adjust a little lower. For a monitor you've got plenty of vertical height adjustment, and it works great for my laptop too, but I would love to use this as an iPad arm and for that, I'd want it to adjust lower so I could draw on it easily. It's probably doable but I can tell that I'll want it to adjust a little lower for that purpose. That's a niche use case, so unless you have a similar, narrow use case for this and you're in the market for a good monitor arm, just buy it. It's unbeatable for the price as far as I'm concerned.

It’s a very clean and classy monitor arm. It holds my 34 inch monitor very well and is really sturdy. AOC uses some quality parts that are ridiculously good for this price point. No wobble or shaking when typing and the adjustability is great. This arm, overall is superb and it’s killing it so far.

I wask looking an arm for my main gaming monitor to save space on my desk and also make it looks cleaner. This AOC arm works perfect for my 25 inch gaming monitor, great addition and it does both task. So far so good for me!

I use this with what I would consider an average-heft 27 inch monitor and it holds it without issue. It's easy to assemble and adjust, and once adjusted how you want it will stay there pretty much indefinitely. All the hardware + the arm itself are very solidly built, and the cable guides are a nice touch. Additionally, the desk clamp does a really good job at holding everything down even if you can't get a "full bite" on the desk top. I do however have two critiques which is ultimately what brings this down to 4 starts from 5: 1. It would be so nice if there was a way to prevent it from swiveling. While it's GREAT that everything is easy to adjust, both in terms of position and actually just being easy to change, the one part you CAN'T adjust the "resistance" of is the base of the arm, so even a gentle nudge sends your monitor blasting out of the way. A set screw or something of the sort would go a long way here. 2. The cable guides should really be just a bit larger. If you only have the bare minimum amount of cables going through them (power for monitor, a display cable, and 2-3 USB cables) they're plenty adequate, however if you have more than that they're really not sufficient. Personally I have 3 display cables all running to one monitor PLUS 2-3 USB cables and while the guides *technically* are holding them all, it is NOT an easy fit and removing any of the cables is a hassle.

Best desk mount i have found to date. Ive use all types of monitor arms over the past 10+ years and this one is the best for the price I have found. If your trying to find one that ls robust and easy to adjust this is your monitor stand. Dont think, just get it!
