Like others I bought this for mum who had dementia and constantly was asking "what day is it" It is large and easy to read even at an angle. The matt black frame looks great on wood. It is quite thin so doesn't stand out from the wall. The batteries last well over a year so use quality ones to prevent leakage. I live in Cumbria hence have no problems with the time syncing. The only dislike I have is the slightly ugly letter font used for the day and month but it is not that bad and the numbers are exactly how I like. It is not the cheapest but is well worth the money. If like me you can't stand analogue clocks, this is the best big kitchen clock around with all the information you want, well laid out. I also have a Youshiko YC9370 projector clock for the bedroom which I also love and recommend.

Bought for elderly mum with start of dementia. Having the day and date visible helps to keep mum orientated as to which day it is. Indoor temperature guide is very useful as mum kept saying it was cold! She now knows when and not to put the fire on, so the house temperature is now nicely balanced, saving money on electric. It needs 4 AA batteries to work, and cannot be connected to the mains electric. Very useful, as it can be positioned away from a plug socket, and has no wires to trip over. It has an alarm function which we haven't used yet, so cannot comment on it. Not sure how easy it would be to turn the alarm off. We have hung the clock on a wall where mum can easily see it, although there is an integrated stand, so could easily be stood on a bed-stand/mantle/table. No back-light, but that is not something mum needs. The display can easily been seen in daylight/ evening conditions, but not in the pitch dark. I first set up the time and date, then switched on the radio-wave which connected to the time signal within 5 mins and keeps the clock absolutely accurate. Value for money? Probably a bit expensive for what it is, but as it is keeping mum 'date orientated' it is worth it to us. Yes I would recommend this clock to anyone who needs reminding of the date.

Excellent clock. On my kitchen wall. Big clear numbers. Time, date, day, temperature, humidity, all accurate. I've got the black one. Looks stylish, good design. Not too fussy, just enough information. Big display. Very useful. Delighted with it. Would recommend.

Youshiko make several excellent radio-controlled clocks with time-day-date-month-temperature-humidity and this one is easy to read from a distance. Battery powered so use anywhere as long as a signal can be received - mine is on an inside wall - and I am very plesed with it. I also have Youshiko travel alarms with four easy-set alarms with four on-off switches so once each time is set, just select the switch for the time you want and a switch sets all-night illumination or just 'when-pressed' on the top. I keep one in the car too!

I bought this for an elderly relative who lives alone and has a little trouble remembering what day it is, which meant he sometimes mixed up his medications and risked missing appointments. The clock is brilliant, works a treat and solved the problem. I fixed it in a prominent place so he can't help but notice the time and day in those big characters. A couple of the characters are a little strangely shaped, which you can see in the picture, so it's not quite as easy to read as it might have been. And it is a bit more expensive than other clocks, Otherwise I'd have given it 5 starts without a doubt. That said, I would highly recommend this product.

It was bigger than I expected, perfect for me to read, from across the room , great for hone or office, I place my on the wall, time and room temperature very accurate, no need to change time, as it radio controlled,

working well at the moment, the atomic clock very usefull, display large and clear

I have purchased three of these, all in different locations around the uk. I have only managed to get one to set itself on one occasion and the time was an hour out. The clocks don’t set themselves or adjust to the right time so I’m a little surprised. Looks good, very clear but doesn’t function as a radio clock.
