I was honestly surprised by how effective this little device is! It’s rechargeable, which makes it super convenient to use anywhere—no need to stay near an outlet. Update 7/23/2025: My son pointed out that the buttons on the front panel do work, so the remote is not necessary to operate the cooler. After I posted my initial review, I received an offer from the seller for a full refund. This offer was followed up with a message from "Olivia" telling me that I must have misunderstood that the device contained an internal battery. The tone of this message was rude, arrogant and condescending. Further correspondence from Olivia was even more so. I was impressed with the offer of a full refund but I was dismayed with the messages from Olivia. Given my experience I will avoid this seller in the future. While rufus claims this comes with a battery, it does not. It runs strictly off of an external power supply (usb cord and power brick that is supplied or an external battery that is not supplied). The documentation provided with the cooler is scant at best, but I guess that is typical of products made in China. The controls on the cooler are accessible only with the provided (IR) remote, so you are SOL if you lose the remote. The only positive point about this cooler is that it runs and provides some cool air.

It works pretty good. It serves it's purpose. I just needed some cool air in my little sitting room where I listen to my music at and it's perfect for just that. It doesn't cool the room off or anything like that, but the cool air blows directly on you enough to keep you from sweating. My little sitting room gets so hot and I be sweating. Because I smoke cigarettes i have a dan in my window on exhaust to keep the smoke out so needless to say I be hot along with going through menopause. So this is exactly what I needed to keep cool while listening to my music. It is only good to blow directly on you to keep you cool and that's all I need it for so I'm perfectly satisfied. I put water in it. Haven't tried it with ice and water yet

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect for the summer heat! I bought this air cooler to use at my desk and I'm very satisfied with its performance. It's compact, but cools very well if you add ice or cold water. It has two mist modes that quickly cool the room, and best of all, it's quite quiet, ideal for use while working or sleeping. USB charging makes it very convenient, and it also includes a remote control, which is a bonus I loved. The design is attractive, easy to carry, and the dual tank lasts long enough for several hours. Highly recommended.

Got a wild hair across my butt to get some A/C inside my new 3 season porch without cutting any holes in the side of the porch or modifying my big slider windows and this was the perfect product. Fill with water and ice and send it. My porch is about 10x15 and on a hot summer day it has made it bare able even with the windows closed. I also added a regular stand up fan to the area in front of it to disperse the cold are down the l shaped hall way and it works phenomenally. Its not gonna cool you house down, but it will work in a realistic setting for a unit thats less than 100 bucks. Low noise level was also a big bonus for me. Great compromise to spening $500+ and cutting a vent hole.

I wanted a cheap alternative for when I'm alone at home, so I don't have to turn on the AC. This is a good deal. It's compact and portable. I tried it with ice, and it felt cool. It's not completely silent, but it's not too noisy either. I would say it's better compared to traditional fans. It doesn't have an internal battery, so it's best to have a nearby outlet or a power bank. It does the job well, but it's a good deal for use near one person. The remote works well, and the buttons are touch-sensitive. I like it.
