Correct design for the most safe type of draw.
You need to make sure you pick the right one for the LCP or the LCP II. The LCP II trigger guard is larger and will not work with LCP model, or vice versa. This one fits my LCP II perfectly. It's a tight fit at first, but it gets better with use or working with the leather a little bit. I'm not an expert on leather by any means, but you can find plenty of tips and tricks out there for a faster break-in time. It also fits in the back pocket of my Levi's just fine. This is the correct design for a palm-in draw which is considered the most safe and actually I think the most natural. The basic idea is to slip your fingers between the back flap and pulling up with gun grip. As the gun comes out, the back of your hand is pushing on the flap out and away from your body. That motion keeps the holster in your pocket and makes the gun come out easier. Granted it will not work super smooth until the leather gets broken in a bit, but unlike a palm-out draw with this holster at no time will the gun be pointed at yourself during the draw.Yeah, I think it is a bit on the thick side, but it is very well made and should last a very long time. There's no printing whatsoever and besides, the last thing that you would want is for a holster to fail right when you actually need it. I doubt this one will.

Very high quality.
Bought this for my lcp max and it is fantastic. The pistol fits perfectly and the craftsmanship is excellent oh and the leather smells great. Will be ordering one for my Sig P365.

Very well made out of genuine leather
My Ruger LCP II fit very snug. After trying to condition it and break it in, I find that it is too hard to draw my pistol from this holster. No matter the technique you still have to use both hand to draw. I am sure after a few months this would be looser. For me I went back to the stock pocket holster. It breaks up the print of the pistol ver well. It is ver good quality. Those of you who love leather will love this holster.

Good quality, design misses the mark
The overall build quality is good. The leather is sturdy and relatively free of defects. The weapon locks in fairly securely and breaks free with minimal effort..... but.The collar that rides around the slide that has the J&J logo. Im not sure what its overall purpose is but it adds unnecessary width to the overall package. A pocket pistol is a compromise. And carrying one in this fashion means the user is looking for above all, minimalism. Unfortunately due to this i will be returning and choosing an alternative.

Great pocket holster for my LCP II
This is my everyday carry holster for my Ruger LCP II 22lr pistol.People at the range are surprised when I pull out the holster from my front pocket when it looked like I had a wallet or a book in there.I liked this holster so much I purchased 2 more versions for my Beretta Bobcat/Tomcat, and Ruger LCR.

Does what it says.
Disregard the reviews that didn't know what they were getting, this is a great pocket holster. It is bulky, but it breaks up the outline nicely. I wear it front pocket in jeans all day. High quality leather with a very tight fit to your gun. I used wax paper blocking and some leather conditioner to get the draw right, that only took a couple hours. With some practice you can easily draw from the pocket without much fumbling. If I were to suggest any changes, I would like to see a thinner holster (like the factory LCP 2 Holster) paired with the leather shield piece to reduce total bulk.

Excellent well made product.
I loved the fit of my Ruger LCP II in .22 cal. in this little look holster. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a pocket concealment holster. I probably wouldn’t get one for anything bigger than an LCP II but that’s just my thoughts. All in all I really like it.
