This bike is worth the buy. 100%. Such a smooth ride, level 1 pedal assist will really get you anywhere. It looks massive compared to my basic bike! Super easy to use and assembly took me about an hour but also fought with a cat playing with the box. First ride found it it is super sturdy and durable. I love the headlight and taillight with blinkers, makes me feel safe when having to ride in traffic. I highly recommend!

The bike shows up packaged very well. It's heavy-ish so you may need help getting it to where you want to finish assembly. This is my first electric bike so I didn't want to go crazy and spend 1500 on something I really didn't know much about. My decision was a perfect one! After getting it put together, I had to wait a day to ride it but it was worth the wait. I've never had so much fun on a bike(well maybe when I was a kid) and I'm 59 next week. Anyway, 25 mph is cruising for a bicycle. I can believe there are some bikes that will do 45+. If your on the fence about this choice I hope i can help you out by saying do it. Even with the hundred dollar delivery tag, I paid just under 550 and for what you get it's worth every penny. The bike is very well built and although I may go to a bike with higher speeds later this Funhang will be with me for years. I will continue to look for the Funhang brand when I do because this is a quality bike. You are not going to beat the cost for quality! It has a headlight, taillight with turn signals a horn and a nice digital display that makes riding and changing gears so easy. If you're looking to getting into biking with an e-bike this is an excellent start. You won't be going wrong here. So hey, buy it... get outside and have some fun. Wear a helmet and always be a safe as possible. I am "upgrading" my bike with a cell phone mount and a bigger seat for my fat butt (still in the mail). But I can't say it any better than totally satisfied! Have fun.

Great bike for the price. 20-30 miles on full throttle. 40-60 with pedal assist. Solid frame. Fenders wobble a little bit that's only complaint and it's very minor. I'm 240lbs and it does 25mph(40kmh) with me on it (max speed after unlocking speed controller). Shimano gear lever and derailuer. Can't beat it for the price. Would definitely buy again for the girlfriend or recommend to my friends. My girlfriend is about 5' 3" and she can manage with the seat all the way down. I'm 6 foot 2 and there's still room for the seat to go up. Great bike don't hesitate.

This is a great bike for the price. The motor is smooth, the electric interface is easy to use, and the entire things has top notch build quality. Some other review I saw before buying this bike said it was built like a tank and I second that comment. Of course it is a cheap bike so materials used are not lightweight but that is an acceptable and expected tradeoff. I took one star off because there are two glaring deficiencies. The seat on this bike is the slim long-nose kind which is maybe suitable for a racing bike but definitely not what you want for comfortable city cruising or commuting. And what is worse is that the seat mount has the lower part of seat clamp glued into the stem, which reduces your options for mounting other seats. Also, you get an impressive array of regular and allen wrenches with the bike but I could not find one needed to unscrew the allen screw which constrols seat attachment and angle. Had to use my own tools for that. Basically, the entire seat and everything to do with it seems like kind of an afterthought on this bike. This stands out because of how well everything else is put together. I have put in some work and upgraded the seat (see photos). It is possible and makes the bike experience much better. The second issue is more minor but it was just odd to me that this bike has great safety features like securely mounted and well-positioned reflectors, night lighting and even turn signals... but no rear view mirrors. And once you try to add the mirrors you realize that it is difficult because the handlebar is so crowded with bike controller and gear shifter. I ended up installing a handlebar extension rod just to have good spots for the mirrors (far enough to the sides for the rider to be able to see around themselves and not just their arms blocking the view). Again, see photos. So anyways, great bike with a surprisingly crappy seat and a build that is very sturdy but may require some patience to mod and upgrade.

I am quite impressed by this bike. It has performed so well and makes me really enjoy the bike rides. Everything arrived in perfect condition and required minimal assembly. Manufacturing is good quality. The range of battery is decent. The battery can be removed from the bike and can be charged separately. There is a status indicator on the battery is super handy. There are left and right indicators on the bike which is useful too and something I haven’t had on any other bikes. Its easier to bike on different paths including gravel and grass because of the fat tires. That also adds weight to the bike. The seat is comfortable too and feels plush. The gears are smooth and shift easily and seamlessly. I used it with a kids bike trailer attached and the entire ride was smooth and comfortable. The speedometer is accurate and the assist options are useful when I want to contribute to biking. But I can also use the full throttle mode if I don’t want to pedal at all. The assist mode has 4 options/levels that changes how much you have to pedal on your own. The bike has front suspension only. It absorbs shock well and make the ride comfortable and enjoyable. A rear suspension would have been a great feature too though. The bike rack is sturdy and very handy to store items. There is a horn on the bike too. Overall, lots of bells and whistles on this bike and I enjoy this a lot.

I have been interested in an electric bike for all sorts of riding. Street, bike trail, path and to pull a kid trailer. This bike does all of that plus more. Unboxing, assembly was pretty straight forward. All tools required were provided which made it convenient. The hardest part might have been aligning the front brake rotor in between the caliper. Once that was done, I just needed to tweak and adjust the caliper settings to fix the drag issue. I did notice the front reflector was broken from shipping but that's a minor detail. The bike has an exceptionally smooth ride due to the wide tires with plenty of grip. This makes riding through grass, gravel, and dirt very easy. The seat drops pretty low so that even my 5'2" wife can ride the bike. I even like how far back the kick stand sits so that while it's down, you can still back up the bike without it catching on the pedals. The electric pedal assist is extremely easy to use and convenient that you don't need to switch anything in order to use full electric mode. There's still shiftable gears in the rear for normal riding. Battery life has been very good. Battery usage does depend on type of terrain, power level, and rider weight. But that's the same for anything battery powered. At the time of this review, I have now road the bike for 22 miles. We got this for a giveaway for our store's grand opening and people are PUMPED up to win it in the drawing. We have a few e-bikes and we know the kids go crazy for them these days. This company seems to make a quality product - the bike is built like a tank - it will be able to withstand a lot of use! Installation took about 60 minutes and I only had to do 1 thing twice because I didn't follow the instructions in the right order. There is one thing I will REALLY recommend to people - when you are installing the front tire, you need to slide the disk into the braking system. There is a little black tab that you need to pull out first or else the disc will not fit in there! It took me 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong. After that, it slid right in and everything works great! It only took a few hours to charge but the instructions said to charge for 4 hours for the first charge, so thats what I'm doing. I'll attach a photo of that tab you have to remove so you know what to look for. In fact I'll record it so you can see where it is too. This bike is great price and perfect for someone just starting out!

Love the bike except my control panel turns rt back off. Fully charged battery but still won't turn on.
