Easy to set up and use
This sensor is very easy to set up and use! This sensor's pins are spaced apart for use in a breadboard, making development incredibly easy. I was able to use the image on the instruction pamphlet describing the pins to hook it up to my Arduino (even though each pin is labeled on the module itself), and the libraries that are at the URL provided by the instructions worked without any modifications and have several functions for determining various points of data.Within five minutes of this arriving in my mailbox, I already had this hooked up and controlling an LED. So simple to use, and works very well.

Works but a rather complcated interface due to single wire data access
I bought this for use in prototyping some hardware/software to monitor, record, and control various functions in my greenhouse. It has served the purpose for prototyping. The libraries for both Arduino and Raspberry are good prototyping and teaching tools that will help you get it going very quickly. This version (DH22) is supposed to be more moisture resistant than the previous DH12, a plus in the greenhouse. In the end, I decided that this component was too complicated and too fragile for my environment and will go with K-type sensors for immersion temperature and some as yet unknown choice for relative humidity.

Nice little temp sensor
I have used this on several Arduino projects...it works well, appears to be fairly accurate, and is easy to use. Much more reliable readings than my analog sensor.

Works perfect
I plan to use this with an Adafruit Trinket microcontroller, but to make sure it works I hooked it up with my Raspberry pi using a couple of the GPIO. It operates with my 3v3 and 5v0 connections. The temperature and humidity readings are super accurate, only complaint I could possibly have is the 2 second delay time between readings, or that the temperature of the device takes a while to change. That was expected for the device though, so it works perfectly.

it doesnt work
i use the sensor like the manual says and doesnt work , dont waste your moneyi used with a Pic 16f88 y write down the rutine like the manual says, and doesnt respond to the CPU, y doent start transmit the data

Does the Job, Unresponsive at Times
It's a pretty good little sensor, but sometimes it fails to give me data. I have a script capturing the humidity every 30 seconds or so and sometimes I just get nothing back.

Good device for temp and humidity projects with Arduino or Raspberry Pi
Easy to interface with Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Great for those projects where you want to know both temp and humidity. My first project was an Arduino clock that derives it's time from the GPS satellites using a USB GPS dongle and two of these for the inside and outside temp and humidity.Fun project and extremely accurate data.

Three Stars
It work fine for a hobby project.
