Put the stickers on as you go!
This is an awesome product. I usually hate building plastic models (I do wooden ones myself) but this was very fun and easy to assemble. Put the stickers on as you go! It's so much easier that way. I recommend a small Flathead screwdriver to help you place the stickers, like the screwdriver in a glasses repair kit. The stickers are actually pretty amazing. I was skeptical, but they really are good quality and add a lot to the model. Touch up with paint afterwords for best results, but it isn't necessary. If you've had experience with models, it doesn't take but a few hours. My only complaint is the flags, I would just paint them and avoid the stickers.

It is Bandai!
It is Bandai, trusted brand no complaints. Collectible -- Note, tiny figurines will need painting.

pretty good
the plastic felt pretty sturdy aside from the really small parts, it was pretty straightforward to put together despite the instructions being in japanese, and the level of detail is pretty good, so for like $50 id say its worth getting

The Going Merry will live on!
Being a One Piece fan I just had to get a model ship of The Going Merry as well as The Thousand Sunny. My review for the Merry and the Sunny will probably be very similar so if you want to check that out you can but it isn't necessary. I haven't put them together yet. I wasn't planing on buying any model kits because I honestly didn't want to put the time into putting them together. After the episode when they had to say goodbye to Merry it broke my heart and I just had to have The Going Merry. Now getting to my review I would like to point out that there is an option to paint. It isn't required because it does come with stickers to put on the Merry but I almost would recommend painting it because it'll be leaving out a lot of detail if you don't. The stickers just cover the basic stuff. You could totally just put it together and toss it on your shelf and it'd still look fine if you really wanted too. I'm probably going take the time to paint it. This kit does come with a manual but it's unfortunately all in Japanese. There are pictures that show you what to do and how to put it together so that's a plus. I can't read Japanese so I will have to look for a translation for the painting guide. I did happen to find the painting guide in English for The Sunny. The kit also comes with small figures of the crew. I took a picture of them next to a quarter to help you see a size compassion. Because I have yet to put this together I can't tell you for certain how big it will turn out. It almost looks like it may end up being bigger than The Thousand Sunny model. Which kind of bugs me because it's suppose to be smaller. I also provided a picture of the base of both boats. Again I have yet to put either of these models together because I still need to get the paint for them so I could be wrong about how big the finished product will be.I really don't have much of a review for this product yet because I haven't put it together or painted it yet so once I am able to do that I will edit my review and I'll have more pictures of it so you can see it finished.

Going Merry
Looks very nice and doesn't take to terrible long to assemble.Picture is misleading though, You will need to paint it to make it look that good but looks great out of box with no paint.Instructions are in Japanese but easy to follow along.Must be careful and i suggest buying a hand file to smooth the bumps off.Overall I'm very happy will buy some of the other kits as well.

Missing a piece
We are missing a single piece. It was not in the plastic attached part thing, so now my husband can’t finish this. Very frustrating because I got it for him for Christmas but he just decided to put it together. It’s too late for a return, but we feel like we wasted our money.
