Ok construction, recycled battery cells and only 5 Ah
The battery shell construction is alright, circuitry is not as good as genuine but acceptable. However, the battery cells are unknown recycled cells; the old spot welds are visible and the shrink wrap is wrinkled. The capacity measured is only 5.25 Ah, not close to the claimed 6 Ah.

Not used enough to give full report yet. Dead after third charge.
So far it performs well. I had a long session driving deck screws and 3.5” and 5” SPAX construction screws yesterday. Driving big screws is a good test. It still has power available. I will add further updates after a few cycles.2 weeks later; Used the impact driver a bit more with SPAX screws and still going strong. No recharge needed yet.Another 2 days later. Drove 2.5” old style galv. lags (about 18) and still going. Not needed charge yet from original first full charge.2 months later. Used it again today in angle cutter to cut square tube and no sign of needing a charge yet. I’m starting to be impressed! It says 6 amp hour. It just might be! Even if it was 5 actual it is still good value. Time will tell.Month or two later. Third recharge, put it in my small DEWALT vac and its dead. Very disappointed after a promising start. Charger indicates a faulty battery. I think Waitley should replace it. I later opened the case and found that one of the 10 cells had leaked its contents. I decided not to recover the 9 good ones and dropped the battery off for proper recycle. Pity. It started out so well.

OK but not great
Good Seller, fast shipping and good packaging. Battery fits and works. This 6Ah battery weighs less and runs shorter than my Dewalt 4 Ah battery. I am estimating that it is equivalent to a Dewalt that’s much smaller. Probably 2.5-3 Ah in reality. Since it costs less than a 1.5 Ah Dewalt, it’s probably still good value for the money.

I hoped it would work
I really wanted this product to work. The OEM batteries have become so expensive it’s time for some strong competition to enter the market. Unfortunately, this product didn’t work out for me. I fully discharged the battery once, successfully charged it and fully discharged it a second time. When I attempted to charge the battery a second time it was dead. I tried to charge it in all three of my Dewalt chargers, nothing worked, it was dead. However, cudos to Amazon, when the manufacturer didn’t respond to my complaint, they issued a full refund.

Don’t use in high use tools.
I got these, for the same reason you are looking at them- they are CHEAP compared to the dewalt branded batteries. When using them in a drill or something that doesn’t have a huge power draw, and gets sporadic use, they are great. However, I’ve had at least 3 of them have the housing break. It seems like this happens when they’ve been used with something like my 20v chainsaw that pulled ALOT of juice and is on for long periods of time. It seems like the plastic housing can’t take the heat the batteries throw off, the are of the upper housing that has is held together with the screw, from the bottom part of the housing, simple cracked and broke on both sides. 2 of the 4 screws fell out and it was ”see ya later” to the battery. So yeah... not a fan. But, I tend to use my tools a lot, when I use them. Maybe if you had a dewalt drill to hang a picture or something, every once and a while, they would be fine.

Buy them!
Bought one just to see if they were any good. Now have 7. Better then OEM at a fraction of the price. Will buy again when they wear out. Maybe 3 years, might be rebuildable at local industrial battery house, depends on how much.

Finicky charging
Wouldn’t charge unless I held it down firmly on charger. Dielectric grease didn’t help. Suspiciously same size as my 3.0 amp hour battery. Have batteries improved that much in the past few years?
