Shimaly® Women's 50s Vintage Petticoat 26" Crinoline Rockabilly Tutu Skirt Slip S-3XL

I bought it to go under this dress for a 50s party, it fit true to size with room to spare, it was the perfect length and extremely comfortable! It fluffed out perfectly for the dress! I looked just like my grandma!

Easy to wear, holds up the skirt nicely, and is easy to sit down in without losing the fluff. Really made the poodle skirt look great.

This is a cute petticoat. It is great for plus size women. In a large to 3x size. I will say I would wash and dry it before using it to help fluff it up. It's not a Cinderella puffy, trust me. Just enough to push the dress out a little. On a 1 to 10 scale, 1 being little, 10 being a lot, I would give it a 4 1/2.It does puff up when sitting down. It does the job if you need the extra puff to push out your dress. Like I said, not Cinderella puffy but 50s puffy. It comes vacuum sealed so I would shake it out and flip it over upside down to help the puff or wash and dry. It's stiff on the outside but once on the inside it's super soft.It's good for a dress just past the knees but not to the ankles. Good for the price. It is not puffy around waist. The waist part is slim the puffy starts around knees or little farther down. I had a dress that I needed the design around the bottom to show and this did the job .

I bought this for a Paris Night Costume Fundraiser event and it worked exceptionally well. The skirt is well made and the netting is soft. Not the super itchy type. I’m was a 16-18 PLUS size girl at that time so, I ended up cutting slits in each side of the stain under skirt to allow more movement and fullness. The netting was full enough it did not need cutting. The elastic waist was comfortable for me, but I am a standard proportioned girl to where I can wear off the rack clothes just fine. Great, FUN item to have for any type of costume like 50’s poodle skirt, square dancing skirt or for a Paris Night on the town event… :-)

This crinoline came vacuum packed, double bagged, with an instruction card for fluffing it. The lining is just about full length. The top 8 in or so are a stretchy polyester/ nylon material to grip the hips before the tulle takes over for your skirt. It's well made. It's easy to fluff.I used fluffing method too but made it even easier. I put the crinoline in my washing machine on the rinse and spin cycle. I paused it once the machine had water in it so the crinoline soaked for the prescribed 10 minutes. Then I spun it out, put it in the dryer on air fluff only for about 5 minutes and hung it up. A couple of tugs and a little smoothing and I have a perfect crinoline ready to go.Runs fairly true to size. Maybe a little small. I have a small medium and I am definitely a small. If I was a solid medium, it may be a little too pulled across the waist and hips.

Does exactly what it says it does. I was worried it was too long when I first put it on but it’s perfect under a dress. Good quality, it tulle so it’s gonna be a little itchy. I’m excited to see what other dresses I can use it under

This was my first time buying a petticoat, and I wanted it for my 50s-style graduation dress. It as already poofy right out of the package, which I thought was great. But I think the bottom is just too poofy and wide so it makes my dress look boxy and odd. Instead of just adding a little volume, it flares out hard at the bottom.The quality seems okay, and its moderately comfortable.I do wish it came in an XS, as the S was just a tad too big (I'm 5'5", 115 lbs) and I had to roll the waistband over to keep it from sliding down and being too long.I liked the look of the skirt from other user photos, but it just didn't sit right under my dress. I might fiddle around with it some more to see if it'll flatten out more.
