Littlefair's Wood colours are lovingly bottled by hand in the North West of England using Mr Littlefair's unique colour formulations. - - This wood paint has been specially developed for indoor use to penetrate and coat new and old untreated wood, creating a beautiful soft pastel look.Create a beautiful finish: water-based wood paints have many advantages and create the best possible shades but have a tendency to lift the wood fibres. However, this problem is easy to fix: moisten the wood with water (a spray, sponge or damp cloth are suitable for this), allow to dry and sand.Create a "shabby chic look": the paint also works well on roughly sanded or sawn wood. Apply sparingly for a pop of colour or multiple coats for an intense chalk tone. Instructions for use: mix colour well. Pour half of the contents into a jug and put the lid back on. Shake the bottle vigorously. Fill the paint back into the bottle, put the cap back on and shake again. Shake regularly during use. Apply generously and evenly along the grain with a high quality brush. You may already like the look that a unique coat creates. However, a light second layer makes the colour more intense and covers unsightly grains and knots if uniform coverage is desired. It is recommended to experiment with leftover pieces first
