Lightweight and Performs Great
I purchased the front, rear, and downtube fenders from PDW for my Salsa HeyDey. They are surprisingly light and simple to install. The ability to snap the rear and downtube fenders off is great, they would definitely break away safely instead of snapping if you went down. They are stable, I haven’t had to adjust them during a ride. I did a very sloppy ride 15 with them and only my boots got trashed. Definitely one of the best values out there for what you get.

Simple and Effective
Very effective at keeping the crud off of me today. My shoes were really the only things that got dirty, and only when turning enough that the front tire could spray beyond what this guard would otherwise catch. This was combined with the rear seat post fender and they make a very effective combo for 'mud season' here in NW Montana. Still waiting for the fork fender ... it hasn't arrived yet, but I think the 3 of them combined will make an effective defense against the wet sloppy stuff. I'd suggest they design something for the seat tube - that'd be awesome! My seat tube/bb/crank area got pretty filthy today. Overall very satisfied - clever design, weighs almost nothing, yet is rigid and stable and shouldn't break if/when I ever crash. Easy on, easy off. Awesome!

easy install, gives pretty good coverage.
the fender was easy to install and position. the fender looked good on my bike and did not weigh much at all. Now for the downside. 1. the fender was hard to tighten to stay in position. 2. the strap to hold the fender on would stretch and then move around. 3. the snaps to hold the fender on are not durable. the fender came off on a ride in the woods. i do not know when or where the fender came off but now i have no rear fender. 2-8-2019 Update the company sent me a new fender. this time as you can see in the picture i made sure to fully bend the fender into shape. i took the bike out to hit the trails and the fender stayed on. the fender did not move around or have any issues. the fender did give pretty good protection from mud and water spray. I still wish the fender was a little bit wider to give more coverage. the fender did perform its job well. I would recommend that if you are going to travel with the bike on a bike rack i would take the fender off. I do not think the fender clips would hold up to the wind when driving. I was able to kick the fender while mounting the bike and the clip snapped off. all in all this is a good fender for a fat bike.

Excellent product
This is an easy to install fender with the Velcro. It works very well to limit the mud thrown on me by my front 4+ inch tire. Installation takes only a few minutes. The material is lightweight but strong. I expect it will last several years of hard use before needing replacement.

Functional, lightweight, easy to remove.
The band that attaches to the seat post is durably coated in something like silicone, so it won't leave rub marks, and is VERY sturdy. The adjustable angle has a bolt that tightens two notched parts so they stay in place well after being tightened. If you carry your bike on an external carrier, you will want to remove these before traveling. The snaps make this very easy, however, after riding for a while I noticed the 2 rearward snaps were undone. Perhaps this will improve after I give the creases a little more "flex." This comes flat with creases, and is bent to shape. It takes a little finessing to get them to take shape.

The clasp broke before I got to really use it.
It looks great, super light, easy install- but the 'buckle' part broke- without really being used- I put it on a couple different bikes to see what it looked like.

As described. Excellent
Simple to install. Perfect for my fat tire Ebike. I took off the noisy fender from Rad and this works better.

Might be like a "shovel" against mud, but it's like a garden hose in regard to rain
I'd initially thought this was a great buy & design after taking it for a test run on a day after some rain had fallen & hitting a few puddles & mud, but after riding under actual medium level falling rain conditions (with sidewalks fully saturated) it felt like I had no fender there at all. I attempted to modify it with some lightweight black plastic & black duct tape, to extend its length & compensate for the tapered "front" but getting caught in light rain proved it an unhelpful modification. As did reversing it. In all cases involving rain I ended up with a more saturated crotch, shirt & face (as a direct result of water coming up from the front tire) than I might have without it. I can't speak much for its protection against heavy mud, but in regard to protecting from rain water splashing up from the front tire at speeds of 15 - 20 m.p.h., this item is almost like using nothing at all. Putting it on/taking it off can be a bit trying, but it does hold securely & even after a mild accident that I was certain might have split it, the material suffered only a minimal crack (this was AFTER aforementioned tests & experiences with rain) that a small piece of black duct tape more than adequately repaired. I would've liked to try a longer version of this on the front, but I don't believe the rear wheel fender can actually be applied to front forks. Too bad, or I should say, very bad. It's just not good at all.

Works great, I commute daily—sun/rain/snow. Keeps me dry and bike cleaner. Bought the rear one as well. I always check the connection of the tabs before going out. Other reviews have suggested they cont connect well sometimes.

Well made, love it. Material is good quality, will last a very long time. Will buy again from this company and very fast delivery,2 days total. Little expensive but it worth every penny for the rides. Thank You

I like the product for it's light weight and it protects my face alright. Doesn't really protect the bike because of the size. Was easy to install but the velcro straps delaminated almost immediately and I had to use zip ties when I moved it slightly to accommodate new tires. Good value. Seems like it will last a lot longer than the harder plastic variants I've used in the past.
