WWE: AJ Styles - Most Phenomenal Matches

A really great DVD. From the first time I ever saw AJ Styles wrestle I know he was a special talent. I did not know how he would far in the WWF/E, as is high flying style is usually frowned upon, then there is his lack of size in the land of the giants and finally the fact that he made his name in the independent circuit which is usually the kiss of death coming to the WWE. With these 3 strikes I did not think a WWE DVD of AJ would be that great. I am glad to say I was completely wrong on every count.Hats off to the WWE not trying to bury AJ because of his reputation but using it the propel him up the ranks. I think it says alot for the WWE legonds that were willing to work with AJ and even put him over. I think the only other wrestler coming from another organisation that was allowed to not only build on their reputation and even keep their wrestling name was Rey Mystero Jr.I will be the first to admit these are not my favourite AJ Styles' matches those are from ROH, which are liitery highspot to highspot. However in the term les is more is well used as even though I recognised many of AJ's signature spots, not everyone of them is used in every match which I actually think is a great idea. Also I really like AJ's maturity he has traded a couple of highspots for more ring psychology. His promo skills have improved dramatically.The matches are amazing, as I expected from AJ, I espically like the fact they they are not too many gimic matches on this DVD, I have always prefered straight out wrestling matches to the ladder and chaos matches some people need to get over. I also like that AJ acts his age he does not try to be "The Heart Break KID" at age 50+. On a side note I would something I am not sure of is AJ has toned down his offence and high flying, though I am glad he has added more ring psychology and story telling in his matches, he seem to be taking much bigger bumps in the ring. I am not sure it that is a good trade off in his case. Though I enjoyed every match on this DVD and would recommend it to old and new AJ fans.

Excellent boxset with fantastic matches. Well worth buying I highly recommend getting this.
