Very cosy, amazingly light and compact!
I received this really quickly with Amazon Prime. I could not believe how compact the coat is when inside its little bag, it is amazing how little space it will take up in a rucksack as a really great warm extra layer!The elastic cuffs and around the hood don't seem to have the same sort of 'build quality' as other coats of this type. However what you gain is the really lightweight compact nature of the coat, and despite that it does feel amazingly warm and cosy. It feels really thin and yet when you wear it you feel like you're tucked up in something bigger!The pockets are absolutely excellent. I have used a map in my photos to demonstrate the size, the map will actually fit in any of the pockets which is quite a rare find! The 2 outer pockets either side are zipped. They're great for burying cold hands in! Inside the coat are two pouch style pockets (no zip) and again these will easily fit our map inside!I ordered the XL. I'm size 14/16 and tall, I like a loose fit and things a little longer. I found the size of this was really great for me, very roomy, I could have fit a fleece inside as well as my thermal top. I liked the length as well.This was a fine fit with my scruffy outdoor gear, but I really liked how it looked when I tried it on with jeans. The perfect jacket for keeping cosy day to day doing errands etc, but also will be great for my rucksack when I might need that extra layer. I wouldn't use it as a stand alone winter coat as I really need my huge waterproof coat for walks in winter. I'd probably think of this as more of a 3 seasons coat, or an extra winter layer. But then I do go on extreme walks in all weathers.It is a very nice jacket and will be very useful!

I love this jacket. It is so lightweight and comfortable
. The sleeves are a couple of inches long for me, but I just tuck the excess under, and they stay there...but if it is very cold I can pull the extra back out and keep my hands warm without wearing gloves! Extremely good value... and I got an extra discount when I bought it after Christmas too.
