I’m surprised at how much I like this couch. We have animals so it’s a futile effort for us to go purchase a really expensive couch. This one shipped quickly, was easy to assemble, and looks amazing. No one would know we didn’t pay $2k plus for it! Picture is of it covered to protect from animal damage.

Great chair! Love the color I got espresso and it is beautiful. Great quality chair assembly is a little difficult. It does take two strong people however very comfortable wonderful chair.

Instructions were simple to follow. The holes had some fabric in the way and one had a staple in the way so the screw could not thread. Just slid it out of the way before places the wood blocks on top. I purchased the 3 piece set for the cost of 1 piece at a local furniture store. No smell to the leather. It is sturdy, fits in our living room, and lightweight to slid across the room. Everyone that has seen it said it looks great! It came in 7 boxes total (I think) it did take 2 people to put the larger pieces together. I have 2 shitzus that sit on it and NO marks left from their feet. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some fine furniture at a 1/3 of the cost!!

- Naomi Home Furnishings fulfillment/shipping center and customer service department are completely incompetent and ineffective. After my initial order on June 19th was delivered with numerous missing components and duplicate components, it became necessary to return the 1st order and place a 2nd order on June 26th. - The second order was also delivered incomplete, many missing components, and many duplicate components. This was followed by 6 incorrect shipments attempting to provide the three missing seat cushions for the sofa. It became clear through this process that Naomi had re-labeled and reconfigured their process for shipping the 7 cartons that make a complete set, and that the fulfillment center was shipping cartons based on the old component packing list and not the new. - Ultimately between June 19th and August 11th, I had to exchange 100's of messages with no less than 14 Naomi customer service representatives. Most of the time, the representative did not read the history and provided the standard response of "return the item for a credit" completely failing to acknowledge that as a consumer, I am not equipped to unpack, repack, re-seal, re-label and return ship a three piece living room set. - By the time this process was finally completed, I had spent no less than 30 very frustrating hours corresponding with Naomi and handling incorrect shipments. In my business, I am self-employed, I bill my time at $200 per hour. $200 per hour x 30 hours represents a $6,000 opportunity cost for me. All of this to complete what should have been a simple $2,500 purchase of a 3-piece living room set. After this lengthy ordeal, I requested a "substantial" discount to recognize my time and effort. I was told "no". I communicated that this was unacceptable, and under duress, Naomi issued a $300 discount. - This whole issue cost both me and Naomi far more than the $300 discount, and it all could have been avoided had Naomi simply read and listened to the very accurate and complete inventory of components they shipped to me and corrected the deficiency by shipping the correct missing parts. - It is truly a shame that Naomi's product, which I will say is high quality and a great value for the price, is accompanied by an amazingly incompetent level of customer service response. There were a handful of customer service staff involved that really tried to resolve the issue, but they clearly did not have responsibility or authority to do so, and would disappear after answering a message, only to be replaced by a new representative who did not understand or read the history.

I've had this couch for 3 days so I don't know how well it will hold up. It is firm and comfortable. It was fairly easy to put together also. The price fits my budget. It's almost to good to be true, a nice leather couch for under $1000.

I received delivery of this item today. It was fairly easy to assemble with 2 persons. It would have been difficult to assemble with just one person. I am very pleased with the quality of the item. It has good craftsmanship. The seating is comfortable with good back support. It is a bit firm but not too firm. I prefer firmness over softness. I would have given a five-star rating but reserved that for a future date. I haven't had it long enough to determine its durability, but, it is made well, and I expect it to withhold its integrity. My only disappointment is, I later discovered I could have ordered the sofa & chair as a set for $200 less than what I paid for them separately. Buyer beware! I called amazon customer service in hope of being compensated for the price difference, but they offered nothing.

I was able to assemble this sofa and I am now using it and it appears to be fine. However, I had one problem with assembly and I also don't think their documentation is worth anything at all. I could not install the center leg on the sofa because the screw was not long enough to screw into the sofa. I made a new leg from a piece of 2x4 and luckily 1 extra bolt was included with the parts so I could bolt the new leg in. Another purchaser may not want to go to this much trouble but now I have a 5 legged sofa up and running and I don' have to screw around with a return or messing with the vendor. Also, the assembly documentation is terrible. It doesn't even mention the fifth leg! The documentation implies that you assemble by sliding the ends into the base but on mine it was the other way around. The end sits on the floor and you pick up the base and slide it into the end. Not that big a deal but a momentary head scratcher. With it assembled I think we're gonna like it! Good luck if you purchase.
