Update: I just completed a trip to Yellowstone National Park, hiking over 50, maybe 60, miles during the week. These shoes are amazing! I hiked through rain, snow, hail, water, dirt, mud, scree, rock, all kinds of terrain. The shoes held up just great providing overall comfort and protection. Though not waterproof, the shoes are water resistant, and dry quickly. Light weight, comfortable, wide toe box, protection on rugged terrain. Definitely the best hiking shoe purchase I've ever made since buying my trekking boots back in 1998 (which I still have though resoled several years ago). Still wearing the shoes to the gym and am pleased with the support in that environment too. I started by wearing these shoes to the gym for a week to break them in and get an idea of how they would perform. The shoes felt a bit "stiff" to begin with but provided great support and were still comfortable. On Saturday, I went for a 4.5 mile hike that included multiple terrain scenarios and am really pleased with the performance over rocks, gravel, mud, and dirt trails. Great traction, arch support, comfortable, and felt light on my feet. I'm hoping that the durability is good too. At this point, I definitely recommend the Adidas Terrex hikers.

Good fit. Sturdy sole. Sleek and stylish enough to send you smoothly across the cityscapes and strong enough to boulder hop and careen thru the urban jungles of life. Yes, they even make you go faster. Try ‘em. You’ll like ‘em. I got a good deal via Amazon. Had no idea if they were going to be perfect. So far, so good.

New favorite shoes. They are wide which is nice. Solid material great for working construction. Not much gets stuck in the tread. Great deal! My feet stay dry and cool even in the black color.

These are good hiking shoes and have performed very well. They provide great traction. The only downside is that the factory insoles did not offer much support or cushioning for me. I ended up replacing them with aftermarket insoles, which made a big difference in overall comfort.

Good. Comfortable. I had to get a size down though from my normal size that I buy.
