Great quality and easy to build with instructions given. My Girl Scout Troop built these as a community service project (ages 5-10) with adult supervision. They are a good size and look great.

It came with a broke board, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. It’s held up great!

This broke after three months. The door broke and there is no way to fix it. Unless replaced. It says it’s weather proof but it needs to be sanded and really sealed the right way. Some parts of the roof are also rusting.

Item is very well made and pretty sturdy. The doors are a little flimsy but still seem to be waterproof in the PNW rain so far. I bought the wood color library and painted it white with exterior paint and am super happy with the results so far. I would recommend if you plan to do it, sand it down or use a primer first but I didn't take the extra time to do it that way.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband. I love it! Once the weather cleared we installed it in the front yard and filled it with books. My neighbors have used it often. It’s fun to check the different books that they’ve added. It is very well built and will last for years.

This outdoor library is super cute, it was easy to add on top of the mount and it was easy to put together. But there are some things that could be different, the doors don’t close tight and you have to shut them pretty hard to close them. I feel bad for people who use it/ who don’t know how to close it. This isn’t completely waterproof either, there are parts of it that don’t close all the way/ leave gaps. It also isn’t 100% sturdy. It does hold a lot and it’s cute, I’m excited for what I have made it into but you have to add a little TLC into it to make it work for you!

I was so amazed at the quality of this kit for such a reasonable price! Sharing the love of reading with my book swap box is a breeze. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble with my electric drill. My neighbors love this!!!

Seen a lot of these types of product with bad reviews do took a gamble on this one as it was a good price. Very well packaged, good material, excellent instructions. Added fence paint on the outside and outdoor varnish on the inside to improve waterproofing. Even came with a screwdriver. Only thing I needed to do was get a bookshelf mount and drill it to a fence with a few screws and brackets. Im terrible at diy projects so if I can do this anyone can. So good Ive ordered a 2nd one. Got the cheapest one as its the same dimensions as a bigger one and its perfect for about 13 books.

pas de notice de montage. En déballant le colis, la porte et la face de gauche sont déjà assemblées avec les charnières. Or ces charnières ne sont pas aux bons endroits (intérieur) par rapport aux photos (extérieur). Du coup le montage n'est pas bon, la porte ne ferme pas et il reste un vide. J'ai dû modifier l'emplacement des charnières sur la porte (les mettre à l'extérieur) et la face de gauche (sur la tranche comme les photos) pour que la porte puisse arriver butée (aimant) et un peu plus basse sinon elle frotte le toit et ne correspond pas à l'emplacement de l'aimant, mais du coup la porte dépasse par le bas et a un léger jour en haut, mais bon ca se voit pas trop. 80 balles !

Leaked and needed additional sealing

Do not recommend. We painted our little library with waterproof paint. However that didn’t help as the library has warped and broken in light rain. It’s a complete mess, the door has fallen apart and the box is warping. The metal hinges provided are not galvanised nor the screws so everything is rusty. The roof of the library is also warping and rusting underneath. Really sad hasn’t even been a couple months.
