Q: What is the diameter of the pole? Why doesn’t the description contain this important piece of information?

I have received this product in a timely manner and, since I've only used it for a couple of days, I can only say that I am satisfied so far. Using a micrometer the base pole measures 1.580 inches OD/ 1.395 inches ID. Allowing for variations in manufacturing and anticipated need for insertion, I would consider 1-5/8 inch OD/ 1-3/8 inch ID as realistic dimensions. For those using the Metric system, convert my metered measurements and draw your own conclusions. Good Luck Folks!

I used a cement table and holding the umbrella was fine but it is very cheaply made and broke after opening it only a few times. I'd keep looking if I were you.

Q: I received my umbrella but the knob on top is missing. Can this be shipped to me so i don't have to return the umbrella??

The top knob was mussing on my umbrella. It is difficult to get a hold of them…no contact info
