100 Things That Make Me Happy: A Picture Book

So, so fun to read with young children!

This book has lots of illustrations of toddlers in various activities, with a few phrases. This is great for kids under 1 who can’t follow/sit still for full sentences. I’m recommending this book to all my mom friends who have 9 month olds. My son is 16 months now and he loves identifying with what the kids are doing.

This is a lovely book! I bought it for my grandson, who will be 16 months old at Christmas. The illustrations are simple and engaging, and all the text does is name them. No story line, but the naming is done in rhymes. I fondly remember reading to my own children and older grandchildren when they were that age. More than listening to the story, they liked pointing at a picture and proudly announcing what it was. So I think this youngest grandchild will love the book. I suspect his older siblings will also enjoy it (and he will too when he's older) just because the rhymes are so simple and it is so well illustrated.

My 6 year old daughter really enjoys this book. She tries to read it to her younger brother too. We review the list of rhyming happy things when she's struggling to fall asleep. She even came up with a list of her own favorite happy things. It's good to be reminded of the simple, fun things in life that bring joy. Hula hoops, double scoops...

My 2 year old granddaughters LOVE it when we read this book together. The pictures are so charming! it's written in rhyming form, and we all have it memorized. This book was recommended by a mommy blogger who listed her children's favorites. I've given it to other young children for birthday gifts.

The poetry has a very nice cadence. My 9 yr old granddaughter can read it to my 2 yr old granddaughter and they both enjoy it very much.

Works well on my iPad with Kindle app installed. My four-year-old granddaughter has made me read it more than once at a time, and loves it.

Great children's book and can be read or looked at by children as young as 1 and up. My grand kids (ages 1-4) love the rhymes and full-color pictures. Each page is chuck full of things to talk about. It has made a great addition to our library.
