It was simple to install and use. We love it. I don't want to be rude. We do get salespeople at our door. We don't have the time or the inclination to listen to them practice their sales pitch. Answering the door with this door camera puts us in control. The salesperson/peddler usually leaves quickly as they want a live person to work on. We don't have to waste our time or feel bad because we didn't buy whatever it was that they were selling. Besides, we have a policy in this house that we do not buy anything or buy into anything that comes by way of our doorstep.

I just threw my blink doorbell in the recycling! I wish I would have burnt it ! as it doesn’t deserve to be recycled into anything! It was sooo slow! The Reolink doorbell cam is great ! Well going to Reolink from blink isn’t really a fair comparison! But I feel like the Reolink can hold its own with ring , google and even ubiquiti doorbells! At a fraction of the price! The only complaint I have with this device is when someone pushes the doorbell your phone actually rings and when you answer it takes you to the app ! In its last state!!!! I have 2 other cameras with Reolink and I’m usually check the front yard cam and not the doorbell! So 9 time out of 10 I end up there when app opens! So I have to then navigate to doorbell cam. Which isn’t hell but time consuming! But I almost always get to see the person at the door! It plays well with Alexa . My echo show 5 and 8s always load the doorbell cam with in a 10 count ! Very happy I went to Reolink! I took the POE version so I had to pass a wire but it’s worth it ! Connection speed are superior! I’m enjoying this camera! I took cheaped out and took the blink not even a year ago and it was just deplorable the connection time! If you can don’t waste time with blink! A wise man said to me “I’m too poor to be cheap!” In my industry we say buy nice or buy twice! Good luck everyone!!!

This is a almost perfect smart doorbell across the whole smart doorbell industry. Especially the POE option with RTSP feature, now you can add it as a security camera to your NVR for 24/7 stream/recording. The most and biggest missing feature is it does NOT work with your existing/mechanical chime. There are some work around, but none of them are easy to achieve. I don't understand why Reolink can't include a chime kit like Wyze, Google, Amcrest, even Ring learned too. Don't get me wrong this doorbell still beats others with it's price and features. Just the chime part is a bit disappointed. I will say I rather pay $10-20 to have Reolink include a chime kit or as an accessory to purchase.
