Great product, signal, purchase.
So easy to install and I now get 84 live channels for free on my smart tv, in addition to what else I have streaming-wise. I only installed it today, but bought it in 2019. Can’t believe it took me this long to bother! Watching the Football playoffs on local network tv and the signal is crystal clear, even without using the amplifier it came with. I am close to a broadcast tower, so I opted to try it without the additional hardware.

Works As Advertised - Highly Recommended
If you’re considering purchasing a U Must Have HDTV antenna, then like me, you’re probably on a ‘cut the cable journey’. There are many pieces to that adventure, of course, but at some point you’re probably going to ask, “How do I go about maintaining access to my favorite network channels?” And so this is my story. We googled (doesn’t everyone?) and learned about HTDV antennas. What made U Must Have stand out? I suppose the reviews. Did it live up to them? Absolutely. I went into this part of the process kicking and screaming. There’s not going to be any cable running across my floor! And I’m not blocking any part of a window to hang this thing even if it is for the best reception. I’m sure my wife was thinking, “Wanna bet?” Fortunately, she kept her mouth shut and let me have my tantrum. Well, here we are. The antenna was easy to set up per the instructions. We used the amplifier. If you don’t know what that is, you’ll learn. Our HDTV, as I suspect is the case with most of them, was able to scan for channels internally. We set the antenna on a table and were able to receive enough channels to keep us motivated. But what the hell? There was no sound. Here is where we took a detour. Our setup involves a Bose console which manages the sound for our modest home theater system. A quick call to Bose confirmed my suspicion that an optical cable would be needed to connect the TV’s sound output port to the Bose’s sound input port. A little configuration - and we were on our way again - sound and all! Note: Your setup may be decidedly simpler. Next learning curve - where to put the antenna for best reception. Moral of the story: Your results may vary. We ended up buying a cable extension and connector (easy and cheap on Amazon) to provide the additional length needed to reach our fortunately south-facing window. And guess what? My wife was right. The cable running along the baseboard and the sacrifice of a small amount of window space doesn’t bother me a bit. Also, as you’ll read in your studies, even a small adjustment to the antenna position my change your receivable channels significantly. Do remember to rescan for channels any time you move the antenna. In the end, without too much effort, we found the best position for us. The number of channels received was doubled from where we were in the beginning. The key is to make sure you’re getting the channels that are most important to you - such as the major networks. And so here we are. The cable is cut. Our marriage is intact. Jeopardy, Wheel, and Big Bang Theory are right where they’ve always been. Everything worked as advertised. And we’re happier for having taken the journey. Would I purchase a U Must Have HDTV antenna again? Yes - a hundred times over. Take the journey. You can do it, too!

Pulls in most local channels, but range is limited to about 35 miles
Overall, I like this U Must Have Amplified HDTV Antenna. It was quite easy to setup and connect to my Insignia 43-inch HDTV. The included USB adapter for wall plug-in was convenient, but I chose to connect my antenna to my TV’s USB port for its power, instead. Having such flexibility is a plus. The amplified signal reception is fair. My unit pulls in 29 channels when connected to “short range”, some of which I never knew existed. However, the NBC affiliate (the broadcast tower for which is fewer than 35 miles away) has been impossible to receive, regardless of the direction to which I point this antenna. Every received channel has been crystal clear on my screen with no distortions or pixelization. Indeed, the picture resolution delivered by the combination of this antenna and my HDTV is amazing. Here are my three suggestions for improvement of this product: 1) Rather than use synthetic rubber on its 10-foot cord, which tangles easily and is stiff and relatively inflexible, use a braided cord, instead. Braided cords are far more flexible, regardless of ambient air temperature, and they don’t tangle. 2) Lettering the black amplifier with black letters makes no sense. Use gray letters on a black amplifier, instead, so that they’re much easier to read. 3) My unit did not include the 3M Mounting Stickers that the User Manual mentioned. I mounted my antenna to a windowpane by cutting small mounting pieces from the Velcro® strip I purchased separately. If the box should have included 3M Mounting Stickers, it seems that better quality control is necessary to ensure that each box contains all items specified in the Amazon listing and in the User Manual.

Delivery was quick even though it said a longer delivery time, Great packaging! Haven’t hooked it up yet but several of my friends have it and got a extra 31 more channels, Just make sure if you can put it in a windows with the most least obstructions, If you can put it in a window that has a clear view of the skyline preferably facing in a direction that you find will pick up the most channels, not in front of a wall or garage or trees, the less obstructions the better the reception! If you are putting on a window then put it in the center about 8 inches from the top of the window and if the left or right side is close to a protruding outside wall put it on the window farther away from the wall so as the unit has a clearer uninstructed view of the outside skyline! Weather conditions will affect reception and channels will come and go depending on the weather also different times of day will also affect your signal as it may be sunny and clear where you are but from any area the signal is being sent from may be experiencing bad weather at the same time yours is clear and sunny same at night! I have put in several of these units people I know have bought, Simple instructions, only the details I put up above that they were not aware of! As to this seller, they are a 10 star rating even though they only allow five! Question response time excellent! Delivery time very good! Product does exactly what it says it does even better if you put it in a more clearer none obstructing view of the skyline preferably in the direction where most your signals are coming from as you will see when it is hooked up to your TV on how many more channels you have gained Price excellent! Easy to install- just remember what I wrote above about obstructions! Quality very good Packaging- is ok, solid paper box, In a plastic type shipping envelope but it would of been nice to see it in a bubble wrap envelope but still it’s a solid unit so it survived and bumps it would of got along the way! A must to own if you want to Save money and cut the cable guy out! Definitely!!! Happy channel hopping!

I recently purchased the Indoor TV Aerial, and it has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I took it out of the box, it worked flawlessly. The setup was incredibly straightforward—just plug it in, and it’s ready to go. No complicated instructions or additional tools required. One of the standout features of this aerial is its strong reception. I live in an area where signal strength can be a bit spotty, but this aerial pulled in all the available channels with crystal-clear quality. I was impressed by how well it performed even during adverse weather conditions. Additionally, the Indoor TV Aerial is excellent value for money. It delivers high performance at a fraction of the cost of other brands. If you’re looking for an affordable, easy-to-use, and effective TV aerial, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Struggled with a few antennas before I came across the reviews for this, which then prompted me to order one. Installation was easy and I’ve received quality signals for a lot of the main channels. Definitely a great buy!
