Doesn't have much flavor, solid coating of hard candy on paper stick - not like traditional rock candy. $18 spent and disappointed kids 👎

I remember getting rock candy for the first time when I was quite young, in the late 60s or early 70s. I fell in love with it! Back then, it was only on a string, and I don't recall it coming in flavors. Are these true rock candy? Yes, I suppose they are. As for the fruity flavors, though, sure, they have a little bit of flavor. But don't buy them if flavor is what you're looking for because the flavor is quite weak. My 14 year old granddaughter loved them, then again, she's never had rock candy in any other form. Before I bought these, I thought the paper straw as a handle is a great idea. That might be so for some folks, but getting at the candy with your mouth can be awkward. I found that snipping the straw a couple of times as I worked my way down helped. I will say, the individual wrapping is a great idea. Be sure to open them either over a trash can because a lot of little pieces fall off. Or, open them over something that will catch the little pieces so that you can eat them. Nowadays, you can buy rock candy in several forms and in several flavors. But I still prefer the plain ol' kind... on a string.

We used these for my daughter’s birthday party with faux drinks. The table looked great with martini glasses and used these as stirrers, and we got little packs of cotton candy they could make cool drinks with. The girls loved them! They taste good and they look very pretty. We still have some left over and my daughters still eat them :-)

So, I’ve been searching and buying all my favorite candies. Twist pops, fun-dip and rock candy. I gave this 3 stars because they’re not bad. What they are is broken pieces of lollipops passed off as rock candy! Yes, they taste very good. The paper stick is awful as well. Paper and suckers don’t mix! Think wet paper-yuk. I since found delicious genuine rock candy. Look for product with wooden sticks, typically with a ball of wood at end(s)

The candy was good. It did not hold up to the task and taste was not as good as expected. Would I purchase again. Yes!!! but not for adult beverages
