The bag has three zippers but only two compartments. The top zipper is used to expand the main compartment by two inches. The back of the bag is padded for comfort.I use this bag to house my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 and my Ipad mini Tablet. This is a nice bag to use in place of a backpack because it keeps your hands free to do other things like you would with a backpack, but unlike a backpack when you need to retrieve product, you can just unzip the front pack and remove the item(s) you need. Then zip and go instead of removing the entire backpack, removing the item then closing the backpack and placing it behind you.I use the smaller compartment to carry my cellphone, keys, hand sanitizer, money and Kleenex.I have received numerous compliments from other women when traveling outside of the U.S.A. because they like the fact that it keeps everything close to your body and in front which is great for deterring thievery.The neck strap and waist strap are padded. Both straps are also adjustable. The waist adjust to fit up to a sixty inch waist and the neck up to 24 inches or more. So you can make it as tight or as loose as you want depending on your comfort level.

I looked at the more expensive brands but for the money and the amount of time I get to use this it works well with many if not more features than the name brand chest packs.
