Naturesort N1-LP01 Bamboo Laptop Desk, Natural

I've had this for 2 months. Fits a 15.6 laptop with plenty of room for a mouse. My mouse glides nicely across the surface and the wood texture makes for good response. Bamboo definitely feels more durable than the typical plastic lap desks.*** Update ***2.5 years later like other reviewers the pillow bottom got a hole in it within the first year and started spilling little foam beads with each use. So I got an old back cushion and attached it to the bamboo with industrial grade Velcro. The bamboo surface is still holding up beautifully but learned the hard way don't reach for the TV remote while balancing a full dinner plate on this thing. Watched my dinner shot-put across the living room floor on more than one night. I've started placing a thin silicone mat ($1.50 US at the local store) on the desk. The bamboo surface is slick enough that the silicone grips just fine without me having to resort to glue or tape. I can just take the mat off when I want a perfectly smooth surface.

It is made of good quality light weight rigid bamboo wood, which is what I needed. I just wanted a simple flat surface to put my laptop on. It is smooth and well built.I wish it was a little big bigger. But from what I found, this is the biggest of this type on Amazon.The underside cushion is OK. It wasn't an important factor for me to begin with. But it looks like it will last a while. I would be fine with using it without a cushion at all, but I left it connected for now.

Got this as a gift from my kids, so naturally, I bought it for myself. The desk is great - everything that I would have wanted. But the pillow underneath is horrid. The material is so cheap that within a few days, the material was ripping away - and for months I've been founded by the small, white beads made up of god knows what floating around - on the floors, on me, on the cat, on the kids. They are every where. Within a week I had used the first bit of duct tape to seal the seam - by now, there is more duct tape than pillow, and I'm thinking I could just re-apply the Velcro fastener right to the duct tape pillow. The manufacturer really needs to do something about the material - so that the inside stuff stays inside, instead of floating all over the house.

First the good; the oversize wood top is sturdy and works great with my laptop. Now the bad; the fabric of the cushion is too flimsy. After about a week I started noticing tiny Styrofoam balls on the floor and the couch. The seams in the fabric are stretching and splitting allowing the balls to fall out. I tried to resew the seams but this only lasted another 1-2 weeks and now the fabric is tearing. This lap desk gets only light adult use and has never been played with by children or pets.I found a sturdier product made by Green Sphere Premium Bamboo Laptop Lap Desk. The wooden top is very similar to the Naturesort N1 but the fabric is 2-3 times as thick and seems very strong and heavy duty.

The bamboo surface is very nice, but the pad underneath (conveniently not pictured) is horribly inadequate. Fortunately, it's attached with velcro so I will likely replace it. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't purchase this model. There are some other bamboo lap desks I would look at first.

take the padding on the bottom off. seems counter-intuitive, but trust me on this. it's much better.

This is a really great product. I was more than impressed with the qualiry. It's lightweight, comfortable and a much product than I thought it was when I ordered it. I use it all the time.

It is just what I needed. A little larger than I thought but it is fine.
