My Nikes feel like slippers now
Oh man, these laces are fantastic! My Nike Flex Contacts are now easy-on, easy-off with the perfect fit every time. I got the perfect fit by lacing my shoes up, putting my shoes on with my fave socks, walking around a bit while stopping to adjust the tightness, then installing the end pieces while wearing the shoes. Took a few minutes, but now I never need to tie my laces again and my feet are in heaven. I’m buying these for every pair of lace ups I own!!

Strong enough for sports, soft and stretchy enough for face masks.
I actually bought these to use the elastic for face masks instead of to put in my shoes. I think it was a good decision. It arrived in just a few days which was awesome because regular elastic for sewing has been hard to get. So far, it has held up really well. The stretch of this elastic is really good too. It’s stretchy enough to fit comfortably but no so stretchy that it gets loose. It’s also surprisingly soft. The width of it makes it perfect for masks with elastic that go around the back of the head but it’s too thick to be used as ear loops. It’s really strong and I would think it would be great as a no tie shoelace. But since I needed the elastic for face masks I will tell you that each lace is 40 inches long. I cut each one into 4 pieces and since I use 2 pieces for every mask, that means I can make 4 masks from each pair of shoelaces with this elastic. I ended up buying 5 colors since it was such a great deal. (If you are buying this for your shoes you should know that it comes with the hardware and there are easy instructions included. What the instructions don’t tell you is to lace your shoe with the elastic first and then add the hardware and trim the end and burn if necessary. There is a link listed on the back of the package to an instructional video. If you want a looser fit, put your foot in your shoe only partially until your heel is just barely going into the back of the shoe, and mark the elastic and then do the other steps. - the hardware doesn’t fit through most shoelace holes which is why you have to lace the shoe first. )

A big help for arthritic fingers
I'm not using the metal pieces. I just tie these as regular shoestrings and I can still slip in and out of them without untying. Since I didn't cut them off, I can still adjust for thick socks.

Rather on the short side, but appear durable.
These are a bit on the short side. I used them in shoes with six holes on each side and had very little left over. I wanted to tie them in a permanent bow, but because I need extra room in my shoes, I laced them loosely had about an inch and a quarter left over on each end.I'm not going to use the buckle. I'm just going to sew them together and put something decorative over the place where they meet. I think a pair of my mom's old clip earrings will fill the bill nicely. I have just the perfect ones in mind.I got these laces for a pair of burgundy colored shoes, hoping they'd be as deep red as they are in the photo. They're not! They're a rather bright, Christmasy red, which is fine, because there are roses in nearly the same shade of red, embroidered on the sides of the shoes, which I bought to wear on Christmas.I love the idea of not having to tie my shoes. It's difficult for me because of arthritis in my hands. The shoes will only be slip-ons, if I use a shoe horn, but they pull on pretty easily. The backs and sides aren't stiff enough to slip them on, unfortunately, but it beats bending over the edge of a chair to tie them. The laces are well made and look as though they will hold up nicely in a pair of shoes that won't be getting daily wear and will last quite awhile in a pair of shoes that does get a lot of wear.As long as you know these would never be long enough for a pair of high tops or shoes with more than six holes on either side of the tongue, I recommend them. And if you get red ones, be ready to like a much brighter red than the photo shows. Had they been deeper red, I'd have given them five stars. After Christmas, I might try to find some in a deeper shade of red. But for now, they're OK.

Highly recommend! Best laces I’ve ever had.
Love! Great elasticity and that works perfectly for my trail running shoes. Provides enough pressure to keep the shoe on tight but enough give so my feet aren’t constricted. The laces are wider than the round elastic ones you see all the time so the pressure is disbursed more evenly across the top of you foot. The metal lace locks are way more sturdy than the plastic ones you find from other manufacturers. I don’t think they will every break. I highly recommend these laces and I will be buying these for all my shoes.

Perfect for my 5 year old!
These were easy to use and are prefect for my 5 year old. He has wide feet so the elasticity is great and the anchors work perfectly even when he’s running in mud puddles. Great purchase!!

Surprisingly - I like it.
I wanted to change out my shoelaces on my converse to a no tie shoelaces. I was surprised how well these shoelaces ending working out. The only thing I would say is that I don't think the quality of the shoelaces are the best. They feel like the elastic bands people would use for their pants around the waist. Aside from that, I would order again because the idea of the no tie shoelaces really do work. These no tie shoelaces worked to my benefit when I had to go through airport TSA.

Great quality and value!
Love these! Following a debilitating accident, these laces have allowed me to wear regular shoes, instead of velcro shoes, and the ability to get them on and off independently!

Saves me time and nay micro stress to back!
Loving these.. Doing every pair of shoes I have literally. Think of it as this.. If you save 20 seconds each time you tie your shoe x the rest of your days alive with tying shoes.. You've just bought yourself x hours / days of free time.. Never mind the having to bend down an tweak your back out.. It takes me 5 seconds to pull on!

They are okay
They were a lot thinner than expected. They do the job but they don't hold as tight as I would like.
