PRO/CON (tldr) REVIEW followed by in-depth review.Pros:-Large is long and tall so the extra space provides comfort for my dog-Top is bendable/flexible/adjustable to airline seat height, basically 5stars on “squishable"-Stores flat-Lightweight-Vented on four sides (front, back, top, one side)-Mesh vent seem ok enough for my dog (won’t chew/claw)Cons:-Large bag's bottom board is too flimsy for its length (probably same thickness as the small and medium bag).-Board is covered but not waterproof-Board cover is not removable so can't be washed-Board is not padded/no bed included-Bottom could have been reinforced more for a bit more sturdiness and structure-Doesn’t have suitcase/seatbelt strapsMy dog is 12.5lb but tallish. First off, my dog is tall so this large carrier is perfect for his height and length. Second, compared to the other carrier (which was expandable but only vented on top and one opening when not expanded) this carrier is very much vented/airy.The biggest con for this bag is that the bottom is very flimsy, board is too thin. When I walk around with my dog, I can feel and see in the mirror the middle giving in a bit and the sides squishes into my dog because the top gets pulled up. I pull at the front entrance shoulder strap clasp and it helps to lessen the squishing into my dog's face. Also it's better to carry by the hand held handles over my shoulder rather than using the actual shoulder straps. It was more stable and I can reach my hand under the bag to give more support. This length bag should've been constructed with a thicker board. I added a cut out cardboard under the board and that seemed to help plus it didn't add much weight.Total weight of dog plus bag is at 14.8lb. I'm trying to keep the total weight at 15lbs or less for the strictest airline requirement (international flights with Asian airlines limit it to 15lbs-7kg) just in case we get rerouted through different airline. The company should have made the cover for the board padded and removable or at least waterproof. I will be wrapping the boards to make them waterproof and adding some padding (I'm using my yoga mats extra knee pad as bedding with dryfur pad). I like that the top isn't too stiff but wish the entrance (where the shoulder strap clasp is located) had a stiff wire across so it helps prevent the caving in while carrying the dog inside the bag.It came packaged flat so at first the top has a teepee look but you just push down the pointed area and it semi-flattens to look like every other squared carrier top. The flexibility will make it easy to stow under the airline seat.Overall, I like the bag for the height, flexibility, and being lightweight but dislike the flimsy board and bottom. I guess that’s the tradeoff for wanting a lighter, flexible bag. I will update once it’s been used in a flight though that won’t be until this summer.*uploaded pictures, some with another bag for comparison as well*

One of the lightest dog airline carriers on the market, it cheap but does the Job
I have purchases a few dog bags for flying, some retailing around the 180 dollar mark. This bag is pretty much perfect for my needs.Pros1. Weight - the bag is 1.75 lb with the shoulder strap which is the lighter I could find in the large size dimensions. I have a French bull dog that hovers around the 18 lb mark, so a heavier bag can make it so she can't fly on certain airlines, a lot of the bags are around the 4 lb mark.2. dimensions- will fit under a standard airline seat without a problem, many bags are essentially 2 square attached my a rectangle. The airline dimension have different dimensions for height and width, but most bags will make the width and the height width the same so you miss out on having move height room.the top bag is compressible, which allows you to maximize the useable space for you pet. Because it might not have the best construct it is compressible. If you are confused by what I mean just look at in cabin bags dimensions and you will get what I mean.3. Lots of mesh- What makes this bag different is that it has mesh on all for sides.I got one that it had it in the front and the back, when you stow a dog carrier in general it stows best when the long side is facing you. I have had some bags that have only mess at the front and back so when you put it in the long way towards you configuration you can't see your pet. The floor of the plane can have poor circulation so the more mesh the better.4. It is not greatly made so it compress well into spaces.Cons1. The inside liner is pretty hard so would bring a small blanket to like the bag with2. No side piece that hooks on to your wheel carrier3. It is not comfortable for you or your pet when you use the shoulder strap4. Can't imagining if you used it a s bag to carry your pet every day in it that it would lastConclusion.Best bag you are going to find to keep you and your pet airline compliant.

Must use the easy to overlook zipper clips!
This is NOT a paid review, and I didn't receive anything for it.5 stars for being inexpensive, 3 stars for the case, overall, 4 stars for a carrier that will get the job done at a very reasonable cost.I bought this to transport my cat to the vet and for traveling. My kitten is only 8 weeks old, and I put him in the carrier while I loaded the car. When I came back in, my kitten was out of the carrier and right by the front door where he shouldn't be.I didn't notice there are small clips on the zippers that initially appeared to me to be pull tabs. In my defense, I didn't have my reading glasses on, so these clips can be easy to overlook (!), but it's critical that these clips be used, or your pet can nose the zippers open as mine did.I like the overall size and height of the carrier, but when lifting the carrier with my kitten in it, the sides of the case bow inward. There is still room for the animal, but the walls literally close in. If my kitten were full grown, the sides of the carrier could be touching or pressing inward on his sides. There's no cushion in the bottom of the carrier, as some others have, but this item is inexpensive, so my expectations aren't that high for extras. I just added a towel in case of a potty accident.Additionally, if you're sensitive to smells, there was quite a strong oily rubber smell. I could even smell it on my kitten after use. I left the bag outside to air out until it was tolerable. The odor will fade, but it took several weeks in my case. Now that I'm aware of its weaknesses, it will still suit my needs in the short term so long as I clip the zippers together so my kitten can't get out.Overall, I would recommend this as an inexpensive carry case that will get the job done, but don't expect all the bells and whistles of an expensive case.

Perfect for a large cat
My cat is 15 pounds and very long so I was having trouble finding a carrier large enough for her. This one works perfectly!
