The armbands are breathable and they fit snug. I bought them to protect from sun exposure while cycling. I rode 90 minutes today and got a mild sunburn while wearing them. I seriously doubt they're spf 50.

Very tight even for a medium size arm. They need an XL AND AN XXL

They are great and work very well for their purpose. However, buyers beware, they do feel very very tight around the bicep, and I'm not a particularly big person nor someone who works out a ton so my biceps shouldn't be much bigger than your average person. Let's just say that wearing small sized shirts will be almost skin tight to my biceps, so if you wear small shirts and have room around your biceps, these should be fine for you. Otherwise, I might order elsewhere, since I'm left with redness where the tightness occurs on the outer bicep near where it meets my shoulder.

I'm 76 years old and have had numerous skin cancers removed, and my skin is fair and thin. I bought these sleeves to protect my arms from the Florida sun, and they do the job quite well, as designed. They are comfortable, fit just right, and they stay in place, which I consider to be an absolute must. An important bonus, for me, is that I can wear them around the house to protect my arms from annoying skin tears, which happen when my uncovered arms brush against door strikes, furniture and wall corners, and just about any hard edged surface. Saves a lot of bandaging.

They work as promised. The only reason I took a star off is because during my first use, I accidentally snagged one of the sleeves on a piece of wood which then caused basically the whole thing to start falling apart. They did seem to help cool me off some, but I figured out that if you wet them first, they will cool you off even more. Overall, they're pretty good as long as you don't snag them on anything.
