MIUFLY Mini Body Camera 1296P with Night Vision, Built in 32G Memory

I received the new Mini Body Cam by MuiFly. Unboxing it and hooking it up to my computer for the first time I found some video files already in it. Videos of someone evidently testing it out in what looks like a private home. I sent an email to the Muifly customer contact rep inquiring about the condition of the unit, new, used, refurbished or a re-boxed return and got only a reply that it was an AMAZON fulfilment and it was their responsibility, no specific answer. This is very bad, preexisting video files in a device of unknown origin could have virus's or illegal porno or both. Bad for me and bad for AMAZON to not have checked it before selling it. Luckily this one didn't, just videos of a perplexed Caucasian lady who looked like she was in a bad mood trying to figure out the camera. So of course I deleted the existing files and scan'd the memory card for virus. I think a reasonable person would conclude from the lack of information from MUIFLY that the camera was not new Good news for me is that the camera works great, it has very good video and still photo qualities, easy to work, just three buttons, downloads to a computer easily with minimal file management skills. Great clear audio both of the wearer and surroundings. Information in the box, not so good. At least is it not full of Mal English, just doesn't have enough detail on time, ID and file structure settings. It is pretty easy to figure out in the "Settings" file that will come up in your computer in the camera's USB Drive Location. There is a YouTube video one can take a look at, useless view of a computer with Chinese file labeling and English subtitles. First thing, copy the initial Settings file and put it in a storage folder in case you need to go back to the original settings. You will be changing that settings file to adjust the settings and saving it in the camera. Watch the syntax, easy to mess it up, but you will have that original to refer back to.Even though I gave the unit a low evaluation for "Overall" purchasing I believe that the physical unit itself is just what I wanted to photo hiking and dog training so I will keep it a month at least, no problems with it by then I will not return it. Customer satisfaction wise I just cant get over the pre existing persons private personal video files of herself and home in the unit when I received it, very bad electronic security risk.

Worked straight out of the box. Very easy to change the settings but you have to do it plugged in through a computer. No LCD, but that doesn't bother me for my purposes. 3 very simple easy buttons. Very easy to use. Video quality is decent, what you'd expect from this size camera.I didn't like that the buttons light up on front of camera. The record and power button are right in front but a small piece of black tape easily conceals that. Im not sure if you can turn off the date/time stamp yet. Im contacting muifly to verify while i still try different things out.The weight and its slim size are great. The clips are heavy duty and swivel. It does not have an lcd to view straight from camera but if it's against your body you can't view it anyway while recording.I like the simple form factor and ease to operate. 3 buttons. Simple. Easy. No real complaints because you understand what you're getting in the description of the product.

This is a quality product for the money I spent. Very easy to use. The instructions on how to set up needs a little more detail. I still have not been able to set the right time yet. Other than that, I'm very happy with this unit. The size is smaller and thinner than what you would expect, but since there is no screen to review videos it makes the size easy and lightweight to wear. Battery life lasts all day( 10 hr shift}. The white balance is slightly pinkish in some light conditions, but always very sharp and clear. The audio is also very clear. One button push while recording to take a clear still shot is a great feature too. If your looking for a smaller unit and do not need to review out in the field, you can't go wrong with this cam. Would but this brand name in the future.Update: Loved this unit till it just stopped working one day. Less than 2 months old and have to return it. Replacement is not available. Oh, and I have to pay a restocking fee! After only two months. NOT HAPPY!

I have been using this body camera for several months at work now. The camera effortlessly swaps between day and night vision.The camera quality is very clear as is the audio.With only 3 buttons on the front to use it is very simple to use making it easier to use without looking at it.When you plug this camera you can adjust the date/time as well as put your information on it. This is great, however the date time doesn't ever stay accurate for me.My other complaint with this camera is that when it is on several bright lights illuminate on the front of the device. I ended up covering them up with a piece of tape they are that bright!But if you are looking for an affordable body camera with decent Audio and camera quality you can't go wrong with this

Works really well all around. The camera takes fluid video even with a lot of physical motion and jostling. The microphone is really good at grabbing the sound really the human voice falls into as human vocals come through sharp and clear even with ambient noise. I can also attest to it's sick resistance as on the first night of use, the camera was knocked off in a pretty severe physical altercation, landed under my body weight, and dragged a good distance and never stopped filming. Still works after a few weeks since. Tough little bugger. The camera is quick to jump to night vision and back to standard which is a good and bad thing. It's good that it can readily flip to night vision in a split second, but it's bad because it'll do it at times it's not really needed. You can actually hear an audible click telling you it's shifting, and sometimes it sounds like a little machine gun going off. In the end it's just kind of neutral. Good it's can switch so well, bad it does so easily. Other than that there are led lights up front so anyone you're in contact with will know they are being filmed. If you're looking for an inconspicuous body cam, this is not it. If you're looking for a really tough, properly clear, good sound recording body cam with automatic night vision this is most definitely it.
