It was finally time to replace my old hair dryer, so I ordered this Negative Ion Hair Dryer from Osou to replace it. Now that I have used this hair dryer a few times, I wish that I had replaced my old one sooner, because this one is nice! It is fairly light to hold, way lighter than my old one, and I love the simple yet sleek design of it. The turquoise and orange colors make it so unique, what an adorable color combination! And, it's not very noisy at all. As a matter of fact, it makes so much less noise than my old one, that I gave the dog a shampoo and used it on him the other day. Usually he tries to get away from the dryer and freaks out a little bit, but not with this one, and I'm sure it's because it's more quiet. I have short, fine hair and this dryer allows me to style it in less than 2 minutes. Of course the concentrating nozzle helps with that, which I use with a round brush. The nozzle had me stumped for a couple minutes. It doesn't have interlocking pieces that you slide around to lock it in place, it just clicks on. After a little trial and error I discovered that rather than trying to attach it all on at once, you just put one side of the nozzle onto the dryer head, then push on the rest and it clicks right into place. The dryer has a nice long cord, almost 6 ft, which makes it easy to work around my head at the bathroom sink. It feels very powerful on the high setting, and it also gets really hot at the highest setting for quick drying. In total it has three heat settings, cold, warm and hot (176°!), and it has two speeds, high and low. I really love this hair dryer, the design is very cute and the function is fantastic. Currently it is selling for $49.99 and I think that is a steal- it could easily sell for more than that, and I would have been fine with it.

Very powerful Ionic hair dryer by Osou Pros: It's so cute! The colors are vibrant and fun. The condenser clips on super easily. The motor is very powerful and it dries hair quickly. Heat settings are diverse, and even the highest heat doesn't fry your hair. You can twist open the handle to access the filter which is great. It's lightweight, easy to hold, very sleek. Nose level is comparable to other blow dryers, more especially quiet, but not overly loud either. Cons: The motor is so powerful that it isn't great for textured hair or curls. Even on the lowest level, it was too powerful and made wavy hair look stringy instead of volumized. I had planned to purchase a diffuser, but there isn't a matching I've available by this brand. My universal diffuser attachment is too narrow for this style of blow dryer. I don't know if you can purchase another style or not. As a want haired girl, this is a deal breaker for me. It's a tiny bit on the pricey side compared to similar tools, so I wouldn't say it's a fantastic value for the money. Although, there are definitely more expensive brands. Honestly, I think this is a great blow dryer if you have straight hair, or if you need a lot of power to make your style come together. It didn't work well for me, but I think it's because my wave pattern is too fragile not because it isn't a good blow dryer.

Can be used on pets. Love this hair dryer. Works so well and the heat consistency is perfect. I used the cool setting to dry both my dogs and it works so efficiently.
