Holy Family 10-Piece Holiday Nativity Set with Stable and Hay

I have to say this is very beautiful! All the pieces are made and painted so well.

perfect size, not too big or small... the barn is very cute and well made. The people are well crafted and lovely looking.

I grew up with a large, expensive Nativity set and I considered one for my own home but my children are too young and impulsive. Even now that they're older, I didn't want an expensive set and I have a small space where I want to set this up so I also didn't want a large set. This is ideal!! This is bisque porcelain (not shiny) but painted nicely. For fifty dollars or less it is a solid set! There is no angel and no star but Jesus is separate from his "crib" and that's what I wanted most. The floor of the manger came with one bald spot, so I may glue on loose shreds to cover that area or hide it with figures and the raffia-hay it came with. I will also use the hay (cut shorter) to encourage us to do good deeds throughout advent and line the "crib" when we do so that we bring comfort to Jesus in our own ways. Santa brings Jesus so we remember that, to us, He is a gift...and the crib remains empty until late Christmas Eve. I hope it's piled high by then!I only took off one star for the bare patch, since I knew there was no angel when I bought it. It's really 4.5 stars to me. Oh, and you'll probably want a different box to store this set - it's a little difficult re-wrap and put away. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend this set to others who want an inexpensive & small-but-nicely-painted set for their home.

Absolutely beautiful! I bought this as a gift for my mother and she loved it. Great pricing and packaging. Nothing was plastic. They were all porcelain.

Better in person! Vibrant colors and details. Only one thing missing to make this perfect, the angel on top. Otherwise lovely. Will be enjoyed for many years to come.
