I can't sing enough praises about this shampoo!!! I avoided buying it for so long because I thought it was over hyped but after trying it I can confirm : THE HYPE IS WORTH IT!! I regularly clarify my hair to maintain shine, bounce and softness and can say this is without a doubt the best clarifying shampoo I have ever bought. Its pricy but worth every penny. It clarifies the hair without stripping it, which is rare. I originally bought to use on my k-18 days, and it worked so well that I started using it even on non k-18 days. I of course rotate it with other shampoos in my arsenal...however this shampoo is officially in my top 3 and I don't think I'll ever be without out. And the scent!!! It smells like fresh apples, if that makes sense. And it smells so GOOD that I had to buy the matching perfume, Melrose Place. The shampoo somehow smells better than the perfume because it's fresher and lighter, but still. Thank you Ouai!! ps. I really disliked the first Ouai product I tried which was their leave-in conditioner (smells disgusting + left my hair dry as straw), and thats why I was resistant to trying this in the first place, but so glad I did!

I'm very impressed with this shampoo. It's gentle enough not to dry my hair out & leaves it squeaky clean. Very effective for getting rid of product build up & lathers up really well too. It has a light & delicate smell & doesn't irritate my scalp. Leaves my hair thoroughly cleansed, shiny & soft ready for me to colour my hair. Would highly recommend

I'm highly sensitive to scents, and especially to rose... and yes, this has a rose scent... but honestly it's so light and disappears so quickly, that it's worth holding my breath while I lather it, haha! If you condition after, it'll cover the rose scent easily. I use a clarifying shampoo every other hair wash (I wash my hair once per week, clarify every two), and this shampoo REALLY clarifies (gets out two weeks of product so fast it's crazy), and it's a nice size for travel. I usually use a different brand (I'm a curly lady, I need hella moisture in my clarifying shampoos), but they don't make a travel size, so I tried this. It doesn't dry my hair out, and it clarifies so well that when I use my curly shampoo after, it lathers better than it EVER has before! A little goes a long way. This is a great product. TL;DR: I wash my hair once per week, typically, and clarify once every two, and this does the job without stripping my hair of moisture. It has a very light scent that dissipates quickly (especially if you shampoo/condition with something else after), and is a great size for travel.

This is a nice detoxer. My hair is so soft afterwards. I love this.
