Casual Home Wooden Lattice Pet Crate, End Table, Taupe Gray

So glad we bought this dog crate! It’s beautiful, easy to assemble and very sturdy. We have a 55lb (crate trained) bulldog and she used to sleep in an extra large wire crate at night. As soon as I got this assembled she went right in and took a nap and now prefers naps in this instead of napping on the couch. She’s only locked inside the crate at night or when we run errands and we leave the door open at all other times. We have to coax her out in the mornings when we open the door unlike when she was in the wire crate and always eager to come out. We wouldn’t recommend this crate for dogs who aren’t crate trained yet since it is made from wood however for us and our bulldog it’s perfect!Update: 11/19/19I just had to write an update because we (and our bulldog) still love this crate and it still looks and functions great! We’ve had no issues with it whatsoever and our bulldog still takes her daily naps in it and sleeps in it every night.

It was a bit hard to assemble because i ended up putting bottom tray backwards and the hinges did not come predrilled as the instructions want you to assemble so i used the predrilled holes to assemble it. They are a little wobbly. My dogs are not super active (english bulldogs) so its great for them. They just sleep in there or are out away when visitors are over. The color is very pretty and they look elegant. I will have to add a tray and of course their favorita pillow. I will also buy a glass to top it off with because it scratches super easy and i can only imagine of someone places a cup or spills on top it might swell up.

I was so excited to get this crate but unfortunately, it was disappointing. For the price of $150.00 ($138.67 plus tax) the quality wasn't there. This company doesn't quality check their products before shipping them out.Here are the issues I encountered:1. Some of the wood panels were chipped. It looked as if someone took a hammer and broke the wood.2. The pre-drilled holes for screws were off centered so panels were unleveled.3. In some instances, the holes for the screws weren't even there so I couldn't tell if I was building the create correctly.4. Definitely not "easy and quick to assemble" as claimed5. Definitely not durable pine wood as claimed on the description since the wood was all chipped and broken.

I bought this crate table intending to have it double as a tv stand. I was worried that the top might not be strong enough, but so far it's doing fine. I have approx. 55lbs sitting on top of it. Assembly by myself was a bear. I think with another person it would have been much easier. The crate was lacking one of the holes that the door was supposed to attach to but I had no problem drilling one in. The color is very attractive as is the design.

First had to re order because they lost my package! Then my 35lb dog completely destroyed the first day while I was gone for 30 minutes. If your dog weighs more than 10lbs, chews items, or can get out of a regular crate do not buy this. I had this fun idea to go with a wooden crate after my dog ruined 2 wire crates and should have realized how sad the quality would be. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We purchased 4 months ago (otherwise would be returning this!) but used only as an end table (reasonably attractive for RTA furniture) until 'graduating' our 6 mo old Samoyed to her larger crate. Lasted 2 hours... she chewed through a side slat until it broke and climbed out. Not sure how she squeezed through that hole but clearly this was not made to contain anything but a VERY small or VERY old animal. Nice looking piece, needs to be made from a hardened polymer, not wood.

Ordered this product in taupe gray. There is nothing gray about this product; it is more like a dark tan. I researched and read reviews of numerous crates in hopes of making an educated decision about a crate that would look stylish in our home and not like we are running a kennel. I thought I had found a winner, but unfortunately, this is not it. I was skeptical as these aren't a cheap purchase and return shipping would be very expensive if they even accepted a return. Arrived in good condition with all pieces required for assembly. The instructions are very poor; we had to take things apart and go back steps to put them together in the order they should be assembled if you actually want it to be assembled in the end. However, we were able to get it together properly and fairly quickly, the directions just weren't very helpful. Once together, the joints do not properly align leaving gaps at the corners. It is also not very sturdy and has a lot of give once fully assembled.

I ordered this crate to replace a rather ugly plastic kennel, so our dog could live in the living room with the rest of us. I had read previous reviews, and several people made it clear that, although this product was listed as gray, it is not gray. And that is true. We didn't really want Gray; the taupe is perfect for us. Assembly was quite straightforward, and the instructions quite clear. Would certainly recommend.
